Been a while since I last touched this pack, but I got some time to work on it now. I've finished adapting the player model to zombie villagers, witches, evokers, and vindicators.
(Witch skin is not mine, and won't be in the final pack. It's just here as a placeholder.)
Here's a fun little detail. I modified the witch's left arm so when the mob takes damage, the left arm moves outward to hold the potion bottle it drinks from.
Unfortunately Optifine doesn't have a fix for texture mirroring yet, so the bottom faces of the arms are still flipped. I'll be sure to fix it once it gets sorted out though.
'nother little update. Finished up two of four planned witch skins.
Female and male respectively. I might end up replacing the default sounds with a more neutral/androgynous voice since I can't give mob variants different sound sets.
I've also managed to fairly closely replicate the player idle animation in these custom models as well.
and i would like to know if its actually possible to re-animate it, because I would love to make it look properly like Bastion and I could use them for upcoming remodels
Edit: Ive been going through the files i downloaded from your pack and I cant figure it out
Basically to make the new arms move like the player arms, I attached them to the body and then made their x rotation copy that of the opposite leg. That way the arms only move when the mob moves and rotate in the same way.
This is absolutely fantastic work! I know you said that you can't have steve and alex in the same pack, but would it be too much to ask for you to make it optional for the pack user to pick which one they want (i.e. you make an additional pack for alex, or just provide the models to enter into the existing pack)?
The pack doesnt work properly for me. It seems to use villager models with glitchy textures (which I assume are what they look like when it works properly)
Yes but they'll be selected randomly, since you'd need to use optifine's random mobs feature.
Would it be possible to remake this for armor stands? I tried to remake it completely but it didn't work so well
Anyone else having problems using the random skins feature with this on 1.12.1?

Slow but steady progress! All that's left to do really is to finish the skin textures.
Okay question, how did u re-animate the villager animation into the player animation?
Because i made a Bastion Iron golem remodel ( View IronGolem Bastion Overwatch Retexture (and Remodel) )

Added in another rotation that's based on sin(time).

Eventually! I planned on doing that originally with all of the humanoid mobs but only go around to doing it with just the witch so far.
