Hey there, 8-Bit Amazing is an 8-Bit texture pack that focuses on making the world of Minecraft look much more simplistic and easy to understand, while making more naturally generated blocks look a bit complex. My idea with this was to be able to create smooth, and simple looking textures that provide a new experience than vanilla Minecraft. I designed it so that you'll still certainly see some resemblances to vanilla Minecraft, because that's what I wanted to incorporate, it doesn't deviate too far away from Minecraft that it looks like you're playing a different game, it just creates a much happier and brighter style. The water is bluer, the hills are greener, the caves are smoother. You'll find it makes the game much brighter, and happier looking. Most of the textures found in this pack are 8x8 or 16x16 which have been scaled down to 8x8, with a few exceptions whose bases had to be 64x64.
The pack is technically incomplete, as I'm waiting for your feedback to continue and finish development, as well as some vanilla textures looked good with the pack. If you see anything that looks stupid, hurts your eyes, is annoying, looks too similar, looks out of place, seems lacking, please tell me so i can fix it for you. I'll be checking this forum constantly.
If I get any genuine feedback whether its on this thread or through PM, I'll be updating this project until it fully meets standards. Updating it once a week to be sure this is top quality.

I would love to see you add alternative textures for things (look at sphax when it comes to that.) Different kinds of the same block that renders every couple of blocks (ie grass from it sometimes has little yellow flowers). I dont know if you see it as worth the work, but with such a low graphic texture pack, variation in blocks could appeal to more people who wouldnt want to look at the same block style for ages.
