This looks awesome! When I learned you could put banners on shields I was stoked, but I was disappointed when the textures became broken. I will be sure to download it, this deserves some attention!

Why?
Are the splashes and colored border really necessary? You can see the design in the hotbar or any GUI. Plus, most people like the original splashes. Personally, I don't like either. Maybe three different versions would be nice. One with the border, one with the splashes, and the third has both. These aren't needed in a Resource Pack for fixing Shield designs. Same goes for the John Cena in the Credits. Although you can open the zip and delete the unwanted files, it would be nice to not have them in.

I like the coloured borders. Maybe just make a download with and one without?
Just Craft a White Banner then Color Your Banner to Anything for Showing Color Borders White (Default) :3

I don't mind the colored borders, but other people might simply because they're expecting this to be a pack that fixes the ugly low-res shields and doesn't tamper with the vanilla experience any further than that.
Also the author of Tales from the Creature Keeper, a book series where humanity is long gone, but its successors, both domesticated and feral, could learn a lot from its legacy.

Curse PremiumYou know, a good way to liven up this thread and keep it from sinking into oblivion would be to share images of how this resource pack has fixed our shields.
Here are the colors I fly. I played around with the banner generator at http://www.needcoolshoes.com and came up with this seashell design.
Also the author of Tales from the Creature Keeper, a book series where humanity is long gone, but its successors, both domesticated and feral, could learn a lot from its legacy.
