Yup yup yup... I'm waiting on ViveCraft, which can't go ANYWHERE to get started on coding until Optifine and Forge are out. And I've already skipped 1.13.ZERO for 1.13.1, and I'm *NOT* going to the buggy, half-baked so-called "release 1.13."
I can't release an update if it's not complete yet. Itembound also doesn't 100% work on the pre version. A ton of items are broken, and will be until CIT is fixed.
Now might be the time to suggest to Mojang to tweak the code to allow for this feature "native". Like ItemBound, BDCraft won't release an update until Optifine is "stable" in release and it makes sense to deal with it that way. Some things ItemBound (and BDCraft for that matter) are still being tweaked.

By using commands, it appears as if someone can take your textures and apply them to items WITHOUT Optifine, just by using command blocks. You would have to have a data pack that would look for "Specific objects by name, replace THAT item's texture with this OTHER texture", if I understood the video correctly. Please watch that video. If you could team up with someone who can make a NON-laggy data-pack matched with your resource pack, just maybe we could start using ItemBound in 1.14... without Optifine. I'm not sure on it, but it would really be quite a boon if we could.

Yeah, there's a new data tag to change the model. Combine this with the "/data modify" command and you could recreate the old system fairly easily.
(Putting named paper in a dispenser above the item you want to add a custom texture to) It wouldn't even need the item to be named and show said name when the item frame is looked at, making it a bit better.

To 1.13 you would add new textures for the tridents, like making one look like Zeus' thunderbolt or Thor's hammer Mjolnir. I think that would be a cool addition!

Obviously that is a bug to be fixed, but that's a damned awesome set of wings! Now we just need a set of Glitch Armor and weapons to go with it. 😉

Yes, it has not been updated yet and the 1.12 version will not work. I know that Six Foot Blue is working on it, so rest assured it will be out soon.

Updated to 1.13 and uploaded an addon pack to curseforge that adds hidden item frames for furniture and stuff.
Get both by going to the download section and click "view all downloads"
Will the plushes, banners, candle blocks, and chests come in a later update?
