Also, sixfootblue, I've noticed the ovens and sinks. Will there be fridges and cabinets to go with these? Nightstands and dressers could be useful as well

I'm debating on it. The main issue with fridges and cabinets is that it might be difficult to access the chests that they'd cover up. Especially cabinets since they're a little bit embedded in the wall, so you'd need a way to right click on top or underneath them.
Making chest overlays that look like nightstands or dresses is feasible though, and I'm planning on throwing those in there.
Hello I frequently use this Itembound resource pack and i have a recommendation For a new mob drop. Do you know how bats have no drops. Well not anymore Introducing the bat wing and bat meat The bat wing is re-textured Leather And the Bat meat Is Retextured cooked chicken This would Be a great addition beacuse imagine this your in a cave and forgot food What do you Do? you kill bats for meat Please add this For my sanity

I did think about making bat wing drops, but realistically I'm not sure how substantial they would be as a leather item. There's also two leather alternatives in the pack already and I don't want to make it -too- common. Bat meat is a possibility, but we'll see.

I was thinking cabinets with countertops included, to match the sinks currently available. These would be able to be accessed from the top, as the counter is part of the item model. As for fridges, since they could possibly be 2 meters tall, they could contain 2 chests, one easier to open (unfortunately). I'm not sure how to solve that problem.

It's a creative solution, but the problem with this method is the custom blocks will disappear if you look away from the bottom of the refrigerator (while standing in front of it), since the item frame is no longer visible on your screen.

Я заметил это уже потом . Но я думаю что с этим можно и мериться .
Хотя можно искать и другие решения .
Part of the problem too with customizing items: I can't (and won't) force everyone to use ItemBound on my server, as much as I might encourage them to do so. Creeper hide looking like ordinary, renamed hide is fine. An axe renamed "Battle Axe" doesn't cause any issues. A remodeled bed might be a problem... I'm using BDCraft, I really prefer and enjoy it. ItemBound has to be on top. If IB starts fouling up my pick of texture packs for default blocks, it becomes an issue. With the fridge and other potential ideas, if things look weird without the IB resource pack, it may become an issue.
I'm a fan of IB, I'd prefer everyone on our server to consider using it. But if it takes away from people's ability to choose, or it disrupts the default behavior or other texture packs people might enjoy, then I'm not so much a fan of IB anymore. I'll have to try it and see how it works both with and without the IB resource pack to see how disruptive it is to the flow of building without it. Perhaps there really isn't anything for me to be worried about. I have to see.
ItemBound doesn't change any default blocks... The furniture items are renamed emeralds, papers, and glowstone dust in item frames. Unless you're referring to the sand and grass textures. Those are part of a separate project I'm working on. I just happened to have them on at the time.
The only textures that ItemBound had to replace were the swords, axes, bows, paper, glowstone dust, clownfish, and pufferfish. This was largely because of the fact that the 2x and 4x sized items couldn't be supported properly without resizing the canvas of the default items. With the new versions of optifine for 1.11.2 and 1.12, since item models can be replaced now, those issues should be fixed entirely. The primary goal of ItemBound was that all of the custom content is optional to use.
Now as for the art style, like any addon or mod, if users want the art styles to match with their favourite texturepack, it's kind of up to the artists to create the support for it. I'd love to offer support for BDcraft for instance, but that's a massive amount of textures I'd need to repaint from scratch. It's just too much work for me. I also debated on sourcing the textures from the default textures like some mods do, but there would be some style clash if people used a different texture pack, either because their patterns wouldn't match quite well, or I'd have to paint some new texture components anyways.

So, this texture-pack only replaces the items?
what about the sky, water, etc.
Ok, that's cool, and that's a relief. I don't expect you to do BDCraft, BDCraft does it better. I'm considering making a BDCraft patch for what items can easily be done that goes just over IB, but I've so much on my plate as well as the hours I work, that I couldn't do that right now. It wouldn't be much, just a few items BDCraft already has, as well as "correctly sized" default items, and it would have to be fetched from their site per their license agreement. I'm ok with that. But as your "job" is IB, BDcraft style support wouldn't be part of your "job" ;-)

Good. That's very good. Those are not things people would normally display in item frames, and certainly not *renamed* arbitrarily IB item names unless they are using IB anyway, so that's cool. "Come over to my base, oh you don't see so & such? Are you using ItemBound? Try it out, just to see. You can take it off if you don't like it, but check it out. Cool? You like? Let me show you how to do this too!"
The only hitch in the git-a-long is that when MC 1.13 snapshots are being released, we will go with that, and we lose Optifine for that time. But going with what you have planned and your goals, that shouldn't be a problem. We'll just eagerly await the MC 1.13 Optifine release.

I've also got maybe four types of furniture left to make before that portion of the update is done. Then its just some bonus chest gear for the people who've been wanting more armor among other things.
Kind of excited to put out this update. Testing out all these new furniture models makes me feel like I'm playing the sims again haha.
Nice texture pack, good job.
Choo choo!

Yeah i wasn't sure about the leather Idea But i hope that the bat meat gets added
I didn't think of that, but yes, it is 1.12 ready since Optifine was released a week or so ago. Until Optifine 1.12 was out, it couldn't be used.

Dang, this update is coming fast! It's only been a week or two since the food update.
Most people out something interesting down here. I don't, so don't bother looking here.
