I'm not getting an error, but I think the fishing loot tables aren't working for me in 1.12. No items appear when I catch something. I'll have to look into this. Thanks for the heads up.
I just got OptiFine for 1.12, now I have to update it too. Then this weekend I look forward to playing with ItemBound again. I miss this since I've been playing Snapshots.

Of course. It'll be a little bit since I have a term paper due this friday, and then a final on tuesday. (Then I just need to figure out why it isn't working.)
Also, did a little bit of testing, and I may be able to roll out some custom ItemBound advancements with the next major update.

is a really cool announcement. It looks like ItemBound will be able to just use a datapack of what it alone changes, and we just throw in that single datapack file to change the loot tables. That would be a huge help over what has to be done now. I have to merge IB loot data files with the ones I have from HermitCraft head drop loot tables. Hopefully these things will make @SixFootBlue's life much easier.
Yeah, the loot tables... discussing it with my wife. She is not so thrilled about having leather that doesn't stack with other leather, and so on. I tried making the rare fish significantly more rare, but my .json-fu wasn't up to the task. And I think in HER case, "rare" means "I don't have to deal with this ever." Oh well. I think I'll watch for armor options, and then start posting images showing me "not appearing covered head-to-toe in diamond armor". I think that's a huge selling point for IB, more than one player expressed annoyance at making up this really nice skin... YOU CAN'T FREAKIN' SEE FOR THE ARMOR. Then as I can generate interest and get others to use this, maybe I can sneak more IB stuff into the server. Hrm....

I can answer that question for you!
To find what names need certain enchantments, go into the Crafting Guide (labelled by the drill on the post) and look up what name you want to use. If you're not sure what all the names are, no worries! That's the crafting guide's purpose. Only the things listed are craftable and only with the listed base item, so you can't make a can of soda out of a wooden sword, but you can make a wooden sword into a twig.

i wonder why its not loading for me. it said the same thing to me with the old loot_tables and the new loot_tables after i updated to 1.12

When I Installed the loot tables the fishing system stopped working. Now I can't fish up anything. Did I do something wrong?
