@ChaosGamerElite, I'd love to take the BDCraft stuff I linked to, sort out where they "belong" in the ItemBound framework, then make a BDCraft style patch to ItemBound. You would have a stack of BDCraft on top of Vanilla, then ItemBound, then the "BDcraft-ItemBound Patch". That would fix the problem of certain weapons appearing "default-ish" and add "BDCraft" versions of the BattleAxe, and so on. The problem is time. I work 11 hr days, and I have a Minecraft server to run. So it could be a LONG TIME before I get to actually doing "the thing".
I watched the video that you show the update with the portals but the item frames can't go on a portal block so you must make a fake portal in front of the real portal with signs so you can put the items frames on them or is the another way to place them in the portal?
Not that I know of, unfortunately. I mostly used the portal textures with simulated portals that use command blocks and pressure plates to teleport players around the world.
Hey Blue, thanks for the awesome resource pack, my friend introduced me to this resource pack. But can i add some suggestions? Because as a Chicago Cubs Fan, I suddenly have an idea of naming Jerseys on chestplates. I know that it might be hard if you want to put in all the MLB teams (30 teams) but well at least, hopefully this will inspire more types of textures, thanks.
I bet some people could use ItemBound in collaboration with fancy Minecraft commands to be able to "craft" the ItemBound items using floor or dropper crafting. The only thing you need to do is change the display name and/or enchantment to "craft" items.
So I have this texture pack where I combine a ton of textures that I like from multiple packs for my own personal use, and I was trying to put your pack's stuff in with my personal pack so I wouldn't have the trouble of conflicting textures with the swords/fish, etc. But, when I copied the animations and CIT folders into my mcpatcher folder, and loaded it up, the huge swords did not work (like the Large Rainbow Lolly). They were the not the bigger size like they are when there is just your pack as a standalone. I also copied a .json from your models folder (I think it was called Generation2x.json or something along those lines, I have a horrible memory :P) because I looked inside that folder and it had all of the scaling and whatnot so I figured that's what I needed to get the big swords and things to work. How can I fix this? Note I didn't copy the default swords/fish from your resource pack into mine, just grabbed the CIT and Animation folders and the .json I mentiomed earlier. Also, I am not distributing my personal pack publicly, it is simply so I can enjoy a bunch of different textures together in one pack withour having to use multiple at a time in the resource pack window.
Hey, I'm just letting you know, for a Mianite Server that I'm helping with, I have been "adding on" to ItemBound, everything has been normally simple, and I haven't thought about releasing the pack outside of both personal use, and that one server, after a few weeks, I think I understand most of how to add items, armor, food, and basically everything, I was just wondering what you would think of it after it's "development" is far enough along to where it'll be something I can be proud of showing off.
I don't really want all that much attention, just a "oh, this is neat"
if you put a texture for the pumpkin and make it let's say when you rename it space hemlet it becomes a space helmet when you put it on if you have a second testure for inside of the pumpking like a glass so it fits the helmet will it show the glass instead of the pumpking?
Most everyone at some point ends up with some sort of enchanted diamond armor, and we all look alike except for faces. We use TeamSpeak and we coordinate, but in the heat of battle against mobs it does end up confusing, if only for a moment. I do wish there was some way to "personalize" armor.
The good news is, ItemBound will do that.
The bad news is, ItemBound does not have many options for doing that with diamond armor.
So I have a rainbow cape, rainbow socks which can not be easily seen with my diamond boots, and diamond cat ears for my ferret avatar. Leather has a huge number of options. Iron disguises are cool.
I'd love to have some love on those diamond suits, please.
As a Ferret-American, I would appreciate something like Diamond flip-flops, diamond knee pads, diamond gloves (resembling the flip-flops for forepaws) and a diamond collar. People would be able to tell I'm using enchanted diamond armor, but they could easily see me for me. Having this for the other armor material would be happy also, and allow others to enjoy showing off their player skins while wearing good armor.
@Romaq
Good point I didn't think of that lol, also thanks for the reference link to the add-ons page. It helps a lot

Please Let Me Use It.

Hey,
May i create like another texture pack that use optifine too?
Also, you may use my textures too for your pack if you want to.
I'll leave some picture of my textures that i currently made.
Not that I know of, unfortunately. I mostly used the portal textures with simulated portals that use command blocks and pressure plates to teleport players around the world.
If u put it on a server plz tell me what Minecraft version it is and the IP plz

Example:
Input:
0b:Nothing,1b:minecraft:emerald,2b:Nothing,
3b:Nothing,4b:minecraft:emerald,5b:Nothing,
6b:Nothing,7b:minecraft:diamond_sword,8b,Nothing,
Output:
Emerald Sword(ench:looting 3)

hey 6footblue why wont you add a powercrafter sword
Is that a power rangers thing? I don't know much about the franchise beyond the costumes haha. If it's a thing, I could look into it.

That won't work unfortunately. I've tried.
can you add a large red and green sucker as a sword skin?
i imaging it being craft-able only with some strange, unnatural enchantment
i have attached a mock-up sprite of the object for you to see the idea
Hmm I could make that happen at some point I think. Are you a homestuck? xD
i very recently finished it!
EDIT: now i really want to see the new item being shown in an "ENGAGE TRICKSTER MODE" type thing in an update video
Had an idea not too long before posting but how about a quiver if u rename arrows to a quiver

I am here to report a bug with Item Frames. They are inverted, at least for any item that is retextured in the pack.
How to reproduce:
1. Put an Item Frame down.
2. Put an Axe or Pufferfish in (Make sure that neither are retextured by itembound)
