EarCraft is a simplistic resourcepack, which combines the use of clean textures and many of the features of MCPatcher and Optifine; the main being connected textures. The pack's textures all stick to the same, slightly rounded structure, to unite the texturepack, geometrically. The colors from a material, are made to look closer to each other, than in the default pack to further unite the theme of the pack The resource pack also utilises the 1.8 models to change the texturing of many blocks, an example being wooden planks, which have a different top and bottom texture. New models were added to the pack, an example being the fences, which have a more flush model, and have completely new texture UV mapping, instead of the default model which grabs the faces from the planks.
A special feature of this resource pack is that it can support connected texturesfromdifferent blocks, these include the different "grass" blocks, all ores connected with stone and cobblestone and nether quartz with netherrack.
I will be integrating an optional normal mapping option for the SEUS shaderpack, this will give a more 3D look to the faces of some blocks in the texture pack.
This is my first resource pack, so please give me suggestions and tell me what you think.

Oh what a difference a little bit of effort makes.
At half a glance, this looks like yet another no-effort bucket fill pack. The textures are exceedingly simple and formulaic in a lot of places.
But oh the impact of the connected textures! Even though this ends up with a lot of areas being boring bucket-filled flat colors... it saves the entire pack from boring and makes those color fields stand out a bit more. It makes it feel more like a creative choice and something that someone would want to use as part of their build style rather than the laziness that it usually exemplifies.
To improve this pack, I'd suggest adding more random variations to the central field areas. Just some little faint details to break up the monotonous color fields a bit. Bring the most common textures more into line with the netherrack and cobblestone; though obviously with far less detail density. Additionally, adding more depth shadows like you've done with the grass would make this stand out a lot more. Keep the overall bucket-fill look, but add rare variance so that it's more visually interesting. Removing the 'grid' on the cobblestone using more connected textures would also be a good thing.
Don't get me wrong, I still don't care for this pack. It's not my thing. But after literally thousands of lazy grid and bucket-fill packs that ALL look the same it's WONDERFUL to see a pack that takes that basic premise and does something interesting and at least somewhat innovative with it. Bravo!
Looks really nice! Saw it on PMC and it's great that you're moving it to more platforms. I would suggest however, that you make you pictures larger. It is very difficult to see what is going on in the pictures. Great job.

Looks pretty good! As Alvoria eloquently put it, connected textures do make a difference.
