Before Dusk is a 32x32 medieval, rustic styled resourcepack with a tinge of bright colour. I originally began working on this pack in mid 2013 and has evolved from a 16x16 pack, to a 32x32 pack.

MCPatcher and Optifine
This resourcepack does not need MCPatcher or Optifine, but with it, it can improve the visuals immensely. I would highly recommend using it to get custom CTM (e.g. sandstone pillars and hieroglyphics) and colours (e.g. sky)
Use of this pack
-You may not use my textures in any way, shape or form commercially (unless you message me and I grant you access, credit will be required)
-You may use my textures for your own private packs (not commercially) -You may not redistribute my pack and claim it as your own
-You may not put money-making links such as adf.ly links with this work -You may not put this pack onto a different website, other than Planet Minecraft and Minecraft Forums
Nice work, I really like it. If I had any complaints it would be that everything is so smooth, this is good in most cases but I would love som hard edges and contrast in some textures. Other than that I really enjoy it, it has a very consistent style.

What you have so far is quite derivative, but well executed and extremely consistent nonetheless. Liking it!
My least favorite is stone. It seems too pebbly and has a bit of a patterning issue. Was also confused to find that gravel looks like coarse dirt, and coarse dirt looks like regular dirt, which could be confusing.
Also you should consider a "toned-down" lightmap addon for those who don't like vibrant orange torchlight.
The colours and textures blend nicely together and I have to say, for having no alternate textures (at least that's what it looks like) the tiling is absolutely fantastic! Like actually some of the best tiling I've seen, you did a really great job on that!
As fishy said though, I'd also like to see a few more hard edges on some of the textures. Lots of the textures are very soft and rounded off so it would be nice to have a bit more variation.
Speaking of variation, as with any pack, I'd love to see some alternate textures thrown in there! They really help add to the visual interest of a pack imo.
Thank you I will take your advice and try to fix the stone. Thank you for the feedback
@SenseiMS
Thanks. I will try to add more contrast. Thank you for the feedback
@XSSheep
Dankie. I've tried to blend the colours so that everything works well with each other. I would like to ask all of you who have commented on the fact that I must add more hard edges or contrast, which blocks stand out the most in terms of not looking right. I will definitely be adding more alternate textures and CTM. Thank you for the feedback
For me it just seems like all the stone and brick-like textures are very soft, it would be cool if some of the bricks had sharper corners or maybe looked like they protruded more from the blocks by having a larger bevel or something.
I really like this. I love the color palette, and I like the overall soft quality that the textures have. It's kind of, I don't know, cozy? I don't know if I agree with the others about it needing a little bit of sharpness or some more contrast, but that's just me.

Thanks I have tried to go for a cozy sort of vibe. I have redone my stone, which looks much better (It will be released in the next update - thank you Ringoster for pushing me to do so), and I have sharpened the corners on the stone bricks. I might go back to the original if people think the old looks better or I might leave it for people to customise.

I've only messed with it, I haven't played with it yet, but I'm liking it. The blocks have detail without having sharp, harsh edges. I like the gravel, and the coarse dirt looks dry and almost clay like, which is what we have around here, so I can appreciate it. Jungle wood is nice, it doesn't have the pinkish color I've come to find, and I really like the way the block is pieced together. And I really like the light grey wool and it's Tudor style. I can definitely see myself using nothing but wool for a while.
All in all, I love this pack. I will definitely be using it.

Thank you I have tried to keep things smooth yet detailed. If you aren't using MCPatcher or Optifine, I would suggest you do use it. It adds some CTM to the white wool (adds borders) and can create pillars and hieroglyphics etc... Thanks for your feedback

Conclusion
Thanks to everyone who views this pack, I appreciate it :). I would also appreciate some feedback, as I want to improve on this pack the best I can.

I'll be glad to be the first one to reply.
I really like the textures, it feels old-timey and rustic, and it also gives me a sort of Faithful feel, and I like that.
Thanks
