He means random access memory. Not vram. If you are on windows 7 go to start right click computer and click properties. Also what scale were you looking at. I have 128x and 64x pre scaled and with matteorizzo's permission can provide you with a copy if you don't have a manipulation program that allows batch actions.
If you have Photoshop (or similar), you can unzip the blocks folder, and record an Action that resizes the blocks to 128x, then apply the Action in batch to the extracted folder : )
There is an easier way with a photoshop script. It doesn't require knowledge of actions and batch. All you do is drag and drop the script into photoshop select input and output folders, and your good to go. This script is really versatile and can even work with psd so if your working it can save all your psds for you as png jpg targa gif etc.
Seems that your post on Planet Minecraft have just dissapeared, at least for me. What's the reason behind this. I bought the pack 1 month ago and it's cool to get that tasty info you post there.

Hey, so I posted on the PMC thread a little while ago that I was having trouble with the bump mapping in that the indentations were so deep that they were somewhat ridiculous looking. You reccomended that I turn down POM_offest, but that didn't fix the problem. Is there any way you could release a version with less extreme indentations and with it removed altogether for grass (not grassy dirt, but grass), because that seems to glitch out and look pretty terrible? Or, if you are too busy to work on that, could you give me an idea of how I could do it? I'm currently subscribed to Adobe CC and I have some basic knowledge of Photoshop.
Love the textures, and best of luck!

Do not press. Don't even think about it.
Seriously, don't.
Thinking about it gives it power.

Ridiculous is the perfect word lol The indentations aren't intentional: I can't run Continuum or the pack, and I'll I can do is run the maps on the mapping software. So, since mapping results are shaderpack-dependent, the software and the shaders read the same map in different ways.
Email me, I'll shoot you some fixed normal maps.
At this point, I think I'll better have to release a fixed version of it, just the time to re-create the normal maps from scratch ; )

If you are redesigning all maps don't forget to add pbr support pweez lol
Sorry for my noob question, but what are bump mapping, specular mapping, and parallax displacement? And what is the difference? I Googled a lot but I didn't find any answer.

Scusate per la mia domanda ignorante, ma cosa sono bump mapping, specular mapping e parallax displacement? E quali sono le differenze? Ho cercato un sacco su Google ma non ho trovato risposta.

That was to the lad before-hand.

Curse PremiumBrian, I just added some tips to get better performance through the use of GPU:www.planetminecraft.com/blog/realistico-tutorial
No thanks ; )
I'll probably make different resolutions when the pack is finished. For now, no copies thanks.
Referring to Actions and batch as "knowledge" is a bit exaggerated lol
The solution I provided is three or four clicks away ; )
However most people don't really know how to use photoshop and actions are more of an intermediate topic I suppose.

Curse PremiumAs every default realism ; )
Yes, that's kind of a problem. As said, I'll fix it as soon as I finish the pack.

Curse PremiumI'm having some troubles with PMC, so the tutorial is down at the moment. I've temporarily replaced it with this one https://matteorizzo.blogspot.it/2016/04/realistico-tutorial.html

Specular - Adds shine data to an item eg. scratches are shinier than dull metal
Parralax Displacement - Enhanced version of normal bump mapping. Provides 3 dimensional data for a texture to simmulate a 3D object.
Just bought the pack, is there any way to downscale to 256x256 without loosing the features in the full version?

I got some shaders to work and the pack looks SPECTACULAR. Just asking are you going to work on any lava textures and/or mapping?
