I haven't mentioned recently enough that I love this pack. I'm now rectifying that mistake.
I love this pack!
I don't play Minecraft anymore, and yet I stay subscribed to this thread just because I love seeing your textures. That's not something that I can say for a lot of packs. I love Art Deco, and I love how you're bringing it into Minecraft. I also especially love that you're putting the original inspiration for your textures in each of your posts. It gives me an entirely new appreciation for just how amazing this pack is!
OK, I've said my peace. Please resume your regularly scheduled being awesome.

Thank you so, so much! It really does mean a lot to know folks out there appreciate this stuff. It is a labor of love for me, even though I only seem to work on it once a year or so, heh. My last burst of activity, in April 2017 was when I was on paternity leave. Now I recently lost my job (I'll be ok) so I'm putting a little more work on my pack. I traveled for work at my last job so when I had some time to kill between conference stuff I would check out the local art deco sights and snap some pics. Not all of them yielded good, usable stuff for the pack, but there are some gems in there. I'm still going through them. And I'm always on the hunt for some good pictures online that have an open license. I just found a nice trove of pics I'm currently combing through. I'm not super proficient, so each texture takes quite a bit of time. But I'm learning some tricks and getting better.
Anyhow, getting positive feedback definitely keeps me going. I'm glad you and Glimmar remember me and my incredibly incomplete little pack.
The floor on the right is actually the floor in my bathroom. The black marble has a random CTM and came from the entry way of JW Sexton High School in Lansing, MI. I visited it in March 2016:
Love the look of the new blocks, can't wait for the latest version, quick question though. What block did you use for the ceiling in the first photo of the gallery, you know the one with the really awesome and intricate art deco design?

Sorry for the late reply, I’m glad you like the pack! I believe that ceiling is the bottom of magenta wool blocks. Though maybe blue wool.
really its texture is awesome, my congratulations! are you planning to publish the new version when?
Thank you!! And yea, I’ll release what I’ve got so far. I’m on vacation right now, so it’ll be another two weeks or so till I am able to post it. It won’t be updated for the newest version of Minecraft, but it’ll have all the textures I’ve made so far.
In other news, I’ve been visiting some Art Deco spots in London and Los Angeles, so (eventuality) expect some new textures!

So.... uhh... about that. Ummm, I guess that never happened.
But, a year and change later, I'm here! I got a new computer a year ago and haven't installed Minecraft on it till now. So I'm taking a look through things, I promise nothing, but I'll look into getting things updated.
Right now I'm trying (and failing) to figure out how to install Optifine. *sigh*. A lot changes in a year.
Still not sure about Optifine, but I uploaded what I've got. It hasn't really been updated since late 2018, and I'm not sure what works and what doesn't. There may be work in progress textures in there since this is my testing pack, so my apologies for this being rather rough, but I figure if I don't just post *something* then it might be another year or two before I get around to actually updating and refining a real release. At least this way people can use and remix what I've got.

Here is my meager changelog:
11-7-18
- added texture for double chest
- added vertical ctm texture for polished andesite and polished diorite
- added black marble texture for black concrete
- added tile for top of polished andesite
- added vertical ctm for black stained glass
- added brown carpet
- added gold blocks (repeat ctm)
I've started tinkering with my pack again. I've got it almost entirely updated for 1.16.1, and I've added two new textures:
The door design comes from Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. I visited there last spring, it is the famous art deco observatory featured in Rebel Without a Cause and a few other movies.
Here's my original pic from the observatory. The door is really tall, I had to cut down a lot to fit it into the 64x128 px ratio:
I can't say how long this flurry of activity will last, but I'm on a roll! I've got two new textures to show off. The doors and the horizontal ctm design above them are both from the CalEdison building in Los Angeles. The design is 64px, but the doors are 128px. I try to avoid 128px as much as possible, but sometimes I splurge if I feel it is necessary.
Though, I dunno. Do you guys think the 64px version of the doors look ok? Or too blurry/pixelated? (the middle door is 128, and the ones on the sides are 64).
Either way, here is the original pic I took back in March 2019:
Gorgeous stuff, eh? Wish I could have gotten inside, I got there on the wrong day. The interior has a lot of more amazing features I could have used.
I know I've said this before, but thank you so much for posting your reference material here! It is a continual source of inspiration for me.
And yes, the textures are just as gorgeous and delightful as the reference material. Even though I still haven't picked up Minecraft in a long time I continue to revel in watching this pack's development. It does not get nearly the attention that it deserves, so allow me to be the one to thank you for your continued work on this project!
Thanks for the kind words! I really do appreciate it. I’m glad to know I have at least one fan out there! I wish I knew how to get more attention for the pack. *shrug*

Any thoughts on the 64 vs 128 px doors?
Given the detailed design, the 128x obviously works a lot better. That said, there's nothing wrong with the 64x version if you want to keep everything to the same resolution. If anything you could do to sharpen up the pattern around the door as it's a bit blurry. Make it look more like a solid line detail rather than outlined on the original.
I'm honestly really torn on this because on one hand I hate mixels and mixed resolutions in general... but on the other hand the 128x door does just look better. I think this would be resolved with a bit of touch-up to the 64x version, though, so that's my personal vote for whatever it amounts to.
And yeah, I'm not really one to ask about how to get attention. My own work never went mainstream either, though yours is far more deserving I'd say. Still, I'm not a publicist so can't really help you with that sadly. Sorry.

I think maybe 64x is better if you want it to be more standard, but as Alvoria said the 128x version is better defined... it depends on what you want.
And here is some stained glass:

Ok, another new one! With a full CTM too (mostly). A brown rug:
For this one I was able to use a rug in my parent's house:

Crap, I swore I was finished for the day, but then this texture caught my eye and I had to add it on gold blocks:
This one came from the Parkview Square building in Singapore. Gaudy and amazing art deco.
