AnyPack Optimizer is an optimization pack that can be installed above any existing resource packs, that makes the entire Minecraft experience better - it includes Better GUIs (for pretty menus), OpenIcons (like emoji, in chat), Better Fonts (for easy reading), and even more useful additions!
It also includes the Iconn software, which allows you to paste custom icons into the game that only people with Anypack Optimizer can see. Iconn also handles installation and updating of Anypack Optimizer, to make sure you're always on the latest version of the resource pack!
Downloads
If you run Windows, I recommend using Iconn for installation and updates.
I'll get around to taking some eventually... but hey, why not install it to see what it's like? It's super easy!
Just as a heads-up: you're required by the Mapping and Modding section rules to have a preview of your pack in the first post of the thread. Because this rule is relatively new, I'm going to be nice and give you a grace period. If you don't know how to post images, please consult this Handy Tutorial.

BIG update from 1.1 to 1.3, now bundled with the Iconn software to make it easy to paste icons into chat, along with tons of custom icons (now branded OpenIcons+). I would suggest trying it out to get a feel for it, as it's a bit tricky to describe.

It works fine,and looks actually good,I like those 3D ladder and plant models.But can you make replaceing the Chinese characters an optional choice?I'm playing in a Chinese server and the chat window is just unable to read.

The "Better Late Than Never" Update
I've been updating Anypack for personal use for a while now, but I haven't publicly released it because I completely forgot about this thread. But it's finally here, after almost a year of waiting.
I've made some updates to make Anypack better than ever - and it's 1.9 compatible with new GUIs, splashes, and a spooky easter egg! Try it out from the new Iconn 1.5, which you can download here.
I've removed 3D Block Models in this update due to problems with 1.9, but I hope to bring them back soon!
