Hey guys! So, basically, Ive seen loads of packs. And most of them are EXCELLENT! The only problem I have are that they have a bit of bow and sword problems. The packs have missing chunks of bows and swords. If anyone has a reccomended PVP and Factions texturepack they use, can you comment it?

The reason you're seeing that on a lot of PvP packs is because the "makers" of those packs don't actually create their own textures... they steal them. This causes problems when something changes in the world of Resource Packs. For example, the change in 1.8 where item transparency is now handled differently. With no actual talent, skill, or technical know-how behind them, the problems with these packs won't get fixed in these theft-pack remixes.
I suggest using a properly up-to date normal resource pack, if for no other reason than doing so supports the original artists and not the texture thieves. There's also SheePvP, which is a quirky but mostly original take on the PvP pack genre. I believe it's up-to-date.
