UPDATE: FIXED ALEX SKIN AND TEXTURED INVERTED DAYLIGHT SENSOR
This is my first texture pack and probably my only texture pack. I hope you guys like it. It is somewhere in between realistic and classic Minecraft. There are two versions, both come inside the pack (1.7.2 and 1.8/1.8.1). I will update it whenever Minecraft updates. This is probably what I'll be using in any of my Minecraft Youtube videos. My channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ZombieLordCell123 Thanks for reading this, and if you did, thanks for using my game pack. Click here to see where its origin is from (This goes to my Minecraftian Cousins Videos Playlist on Youtube): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL34Dcg8LghjFlUZWZ8aqIRPfMZVIjnZTk This is a modpack, I am not claiming any of this is mine except for the texture pack itself. I put "realistic" as a tag because in my opinion this is meh realistic. Not very realistic not very Minecraft-ish. It's in the middle. If you have any suggestions please post them in the comments. This is Minecraft, so there will be a grid look from a distance.
Also, these go great with my resource pack!
Download them here:
@echonite Yeah... Of course I didn't make the shaders. I never said I did. You clearly aren't reading the description. Also, I'm not advertising anything as mine except for what rightfully is and I'm not advertising my Youtube channel, I'm showing where the pack's origin is from. If it doesn't look realistic to you (I never said it was extremely realistic anyways, its staying classic) then don't complain. Instead of being a jerk and complaining to me, how about you try making your own texture pack that suits you. If you don't like it, just don't download it. Also, I even said it was my first texture pack, so you can't use that as an insult; you're just making yourself look stupid and like a jerk, which is true in this case. Go be a jerk somewhere else.

If you put something up for download, you're claiming it as your own -or- that you have permission to put it up for download. If something doesn't belong to you and you don't have permission to put it up for download, then that is copyright infringement. This is not difficult to understand. If it doesn't belong to you, don't put it up for download.
And no, Echonite isn't being a jerk. Well... maybe a little. But he still has a valid point. If something doesn't look realistic, calling it realistic is an outright lie. Reality does not look like your pack. This is not open to debate, it is simply a fact. And yes, you DID say it was realistic. You put it as a tag in the title for goodness sake!
As for this being your first pack, that's not an excuse. Sanity was my first pack. It's not for everyone, sure, but it's still positively received. The difference is that I took my time and learned what I was doing before I published it. Your pack has a lot of obvious problems. Tiling errors being the most common, but there are others. It's not technically proficient, which is something you're going to get complaints about.
And while we're on that subject, by publishing a work you invite criticism. You're not going to get praise for something that isn't good. Make peace with that fact, because if this is your attitude when someone points out your mistakes then you're probably going to be hearing a LOT of criticism. Not only of your work, if this is how you act.
Here are my suggestions:
1) DO NOT post mods that you did not make. Instead, just link to those threads and suggest people use them with your pack. If you want to package a preset for a shaders mod, that's fine as long as it's one your made yourself. But DO NOT redistribute things you did not make. Your thread WILL be removed from the forum if you steal other people's stuff.
2) Post screenshots without shaders. Those who can't run shaders will be disappointed by your pack and will be resentful that you mislead them. A pack worth it's salt will stand on its own. You can include a few shots with shaders for the title, but the bulk of the screenshots you have should be showing off how good your pack looks, NOT how great the shaders mod is.
3) Fix your tiling errors. Almost every texture in this pack makes obvious lines or a grid at a distance. This looks horrible. When it comes to nature, there should not be highly visible patterns. This is OK for synthetic things like bricks, but grass and rocks do not have a grid on it in real life and should not in your resource pack.
4) Take criticism with some humility. If someone tells you there's a problem with the pack, it's not because they're being a jerk. It's because they're trying to help you make it better by pointing out where you need to improve. Yes, Echonite could have been a bit more subtle. That's no reason to resort to name calling.
5) Don't tell people to go make their own pack if they don't like yours. You don't have to be a world class chef to know that someone's cooking tastes bad. Likewise, you don't have to be an artist to know when a resource pack looks wrong. If someone's telling you there's a problem with your pack, consider the possibility that they may be right!
@Alvoria Thanks for the suggestions! I have now changed this page and the description now has a better explanation of the pack. echonite came across too rough; that's why I was mad. You, on the other hand, came across as friendly. You gave me a better review than echonite did. A couple things though: this is a mudpack, it will have things that aren't mine because I don't know how to make mods. I have given full credit to their rightful owners. Also, I said it was only a small bit realistic.

Then it will be removed from the forum for content theft.
Rules are there for a reason, and if you don't follow them you won't be welcome here. Copyright Law also applies since those mods are owned by the ones who created them. People work hard on those mods and want to maintain control over them, just as you most likely do for your own work. Giving credit is not enough. You are obligated to follow the licenses under which those mods are released, which includes not redistributing them without permission.
Instead of breaking the forum rules and relevant copyright laws, please provide links to the rightfull owners' pages and tell people to go download them to use with your pack. Please be a good person and do the right thing.
@Alvoria Thanks again! I have now deleted the mods from the pack and added separate download links instead.
Good.
One final thing, please don't use sites like 5minecraft and 6minecraft. They steal content from the creators for their own gain. Please use the official pages on Minecraft Forum, Planet Minecraft, or Curse. You did this with all but a couple of them, but please do it across the board. You've gotten over your own content theft, please don't promote others doing it either. Thank you.

I refrain from sugar coating things. Welcome to life. I was blunt and honest. How you take my comments is entirely up to you. I say it as I see it, which may not be how you want to hear it.

Not seeing the realistic bits you mentioned.
Further proof that you can dress a pile of poo and make it look pretty with shaders.
Youtube channel plug!
Resource Pack thread sins: 4
-1 for not using adfly. Gotta give props for that. Adfly is quite the parasite.
Honestly, its very bland. Little detail, some harsh colors, and overall... looks like a first pack. Usually first packs should be kept private
