How can I use that 128x deadpool skin on 1.8.8 o.O and will eveeryone be able to see its true beauty as it looks in the pics or not
Without a mod the hi-res skins only work for single player. And the server would have to have the mod too. I unfortunately have yet to find a hi-res skin mod for 1.8.
Mojang needs to get the program and allow hi-res skins natively.
Howdy Druha, looks like you are doing well with the pack. As always, I enjoy using it. I'm curious if you have any thoughts on possibly adding specular and bump maps to the texture packs. I understand that is a massive undertaking, but it would look amazing. I'm running SEUS shaders now on 1.8 and it's beautiful, but I've found that I need to mix and match packs these days as so few people do specular and bump maps.

There are a couple of problems with the 3D models.
-The breaking particles for torches on the ground, birch saplings, and glowstone are missing.
-When you place a sign on a vertical log, the roundness of it covers the sign.
The breaking particles thing I thought was fixed a long time ago. I remember going through the pack busting things and making a list on the old forum post for Zomb. Perhaps you downloaded a bad version? Or perhaps something broke again.

I'm still here, and yeah, I haven't updated things in a while. I've been working on other things lately. I got into 2 different Alphas for new games, I wrote a shop generator application for DnD 3.5, and I'm working on making a new table-top RPG system.
Back to the topic of this resource pack. I too thought I had fixed the breaking particles. I unfortunately didn't make the 3d models and am not as knowledgeable about Minecraft's 3d format as Zomb was. I can check and give it a shot again, but I promise nothing.
As for the log, the round part of it actually pokes out into the next block over and signs have a fixed position within a block, which as far as i've been able to figure out, can't be changed dynamically based on the surface the sign is up against. A solution would be to change the model of the rounded logs to be smaller and not poke out of the block. Maybe I'll take a look at that some time.
Other than that I'm just waiting for 1.9 to come out and then i'll update the pack again. And I'm still not happy with the sheep texture so look for a new one in the future.

Hey Druha, since mods for 1.8.9 are being released (such as Thaumcraft 5), are you going to update the mod textures now or wait until 1.9 vanilla is released?
As for sheep textures, them and goats have really creepy looking eyes, maybe implementing creepy hourglass/rectangle pupils will work?
I also just noticed that Jungle and Acacia Log's Side texture are very similar - they have nearly no difference.
I've used other mod patch material (mostly mekanism) and some new stuff to cover de dr cyanos mod (base metal, power advantage, steam advantage, electric advantage) (for minecraft 1.8.9)
I also made a "speed pass" on converting stuff for the more recent thaumcraft version (for minecraft 1.8.9)
They are ready to use/test but I don't know how to put them here..so if someone care to show me a detailed walkthrough I would be glad to share them and let you tweak with them as you like.
God I hope this pack gets reborn! Please don't abandon it like the original creator did. Iv'e lost so many good texture packs because "they get bored" TobiWanKenobi and his Inspiration pack comes to mind.
EDIT: I'm comparing the last version by Emperor Doom to the last version by Druha, and... what the hell, man? Every replaced texture has been a downgrade. Goofy, twisted animal faces are now boring, lifeless animal faces. Drumsticks, a traditionally cartoony way of representing meat, have been replaced with boring, "realistic" mutton.
Does anyone know where I can get Emperor Doom's last release in 128x resolution?

At the moment, none. I haven't been playing Minecraft as often as I used to and when I do I'm on private servers.
