Hey guys, I've finished the textures although I'm having lots of issues with placing them into the right places and re-naming because Mojang seemed to think it was a good idea to re-name the source files of multiple blocks/items/entities and move them around. I will post the packs up in all resolutions once I finally figure this all out. Sorry for the delay.

Hey guys! So the pack has been done for a few days now, however, it barely runs properly without Optifine... :/ My $1600 CAD custom gaming PC has trouble keeping a decent fps on even 6 render distance. I won't be releasing the pack until Optifine 1.9 releases because I'd rather have a functioning resourcepack that everyone has the chance to use properly than a broken GPU overheater... I hope you all understand. I'll post updates and hopefully Optifine is updated soon. Thanks! -Nickm77
Hi Nick! Just a friendly minecraftian here droppin by to say thanks for all of the time and effort you put into making this pack so incredible.
The minute I installed it along with my KUDA shaders with ultra blur and depth of field I knew I was in for a treat : ) it looks astounding... not to mention immersive as hell. I actually reverted from johnsmith to this pack which took alot for me to do since i used johnsmith for years.
I did build my own watercooled gaming rig last year and it manages to run a flat 65-70 FPS with your 512x512 version so I'm very satisfied with that. I was having doubts of my MSI 780ti hehe but she pulls her own still
can't wait for optifine to update so you can continue your awesome work on this!

Hey man! Thanks so much for the comment! It means so much hearing how people enjoy using my resourcepack :D. It looks like Optifine is almost available(within the next few days) so prepare for the 1.9 version of the pack
Personally I LOVE this texture pack, and it's such an eye popper. Probably the best one out there for Realism. So I decided to bench test this on my rig, and it's powerful enough to run 40-60fps WITH KUDA shaders Extreme.
Nvidia 750Ti SC (4GB vRAM)
AMD FX 6300 6cores @3.6Ghz
16GB RAM (Freaking 6GB allocated to run smoothly!)
No water cooling or liquid cooling. All fans.
That's all there is to really tell important wise, although I did play it with vsync ON and 720p windowed. No AA, I didn't feel as if it was necessary honestly. So, if the specs helped for a "recommended" area, please use them.
Let me re-say something though. I had to allocate SIX GIGABYTES of RAM for Minecraft, 4 would cap out and crash after about 10 minutes of usage.
Edit: Hell I forgot my settings I set. Normal render distance, Fancy Graphics. Smooth FPS OFF, that caused a fps boost around 20-30fps. Why such the dip though??
Mods: Forge w/ Optifine 1.8.8. HUGE FPS boost with Forge for whatever reason.
Im already waiting for so long and check nearly every hour.
I just love this texture pack but looks like upload doesnt work as it should since it has been 3 days by now.
Or you are just busy with work.
Sorry about the wait to you and anyone else waiting for the updated pack. I've still been busy with my fulltime job and with the little time I have I am trying to get it out. However, Minecraft 1.9 has lots of issues with 512x packs for some reason. Even with optifine, it only runs at 2-5 fps when it was running at 300+ on 1.8... I don't know why Mojang constantly releases updates that hurts resourcepacks so severely. I'll try to have it out ASAP, for now there is no timeline, I'll update on here when i know it'll be ready. Thanks for the patience! -Nickm77

Hey everyone! Sorry for being inactive for the past while. I've been busy with other things and haven't had much time to think about EPR. I'm excited to let everyone know that I will soon be updating EPR and re-doing a lot of things in it! I will now be posting download links on my official website: http://www.EnhancedPhotoRealism.net. Although, I will still be posting updates on here. I just wanted to let everyone know that EPR will be back soon, and better than ever! The main issue I'm trying to overcome currently is getting it to run smoothly. For some reason, with every minecraft major update, it runs worse and worse with 512x resoucepacks.. Mojang >_>.. Anyway, once I get the pack running smoothly I will release all versions! Thanks alot for the support everyone!

Hello all! I'm happy to say that I've finally gotten around to updating Enhanced Photo Realism! Now with connected textures and much, much more awesome features! I hope you all enjoy it and please, leave me feedback!
The new download links are at the official website!
Thank for the comment, as for the bugs with the spider and enderman, I really have no explanation for them, it only seems to happen on the 512x512 version and unfortunately it started once MC 1.7 was released so it must be a change of code that causes those issues. :/ I didn't design it around any mods though, not to worry. Hopefully mojang does something about that because it was fine before 1.7 came out. Also, I don't believe it's currently possible to run a 1024x1024 pack without MC crashing or some other error occurring unfortunately, trust me. If it was an option I'd have made that instead of 512x. Leave any more feedback that you have on my forum though, I'd love to hear more! Thanks
Hmmm, perhaps......will try again sometime later - maybe this newer version fixed this or you found a fix for it throughout your discoveries....I've just been off MC for a while....but intend to get back into it at some point... Just started receiving these notification emails in my inbox.....looks like I've missed quite some activity here that the notification system failed to notify me of.....
As for the resolution texture size, then perhaps make it in between 1024x1024 and 512x512? Like 768x768? Would that work? I'm not sure how it works or if it needs to be a multiple of a specific number....but if it crashes at 1024x1024 but doesn't at 512x512, then something in between as suggested?

I happened to find a fix for it in the newest update! It was quite simple really LOL. For the .png file for the spider/enderman eyes overlay, all I needed to do was make the background black rather than see-through. Thanks though!

Oh, nice....I guess I don't need to do any further work then and just download and install the latest version of your EPR mod....
What about the resolution size? Anything to comment on that or not really?

That would have definitely been my next step in trying to fix the issue but it looks like everything's good to go! Thank's for your input! I hope you enjoy EPR and be sure to send me any suggestions!
Downlaodet: EPR 1.12.X 512x.zip & EPR 1.12.X 128x.zip and put in in the resourcepack-folder next to other working resourcepacks. But It isn´t shown in the Resourcepack-menu(both). So i can´t choose them.

I have a surprise for all of you...
hi could you please create some in depth read me instructions as this is quite confusing
I tried to add this resource pack to a 1.7.10 but it doesn't show up in list of menu in resource pack?
