Many thanks to Monsterfish, for allowing us to create an addon-pack for his fantastic texture pack and allowing us to use a modified version of his tiled roof texture.
Thank you to Daruskiy and Atheray from the Respublica server! Daruskiy has made many useful meta-data textures, and Atheray created iron door, noteblock, and redstone lamp textures perfect for the theme.
Stugace, for inspiring Origines members to bring Rome to minecraft, we are immensely grateful. Thank you for allowing Origines to use your textures as placeholders years ago when our texture pack was first created.
Small update released: Mossy stone brick, white hardened clay, and light hardened clay now work properly with connected textures.
Currently, I'm finishing up the 1.7 compatibility pack and beginning a creative version that would replace conquest textures not very relevant to the Roman.
As my art teacher (who loves Rome and associated artwork) would say: SO GOOD!!!
Well done, I'd have to say that it's one of those packs that when you see it, it makes you want to drop everything and build something like the showcase screenshots.
A version of Origines of Rome compatible with Minecraft 1,7 has been released. Many meta-textures have been added, allowing for a far greater range of building materials. A 1.8 version with these changes (barring the meta-textures has been released. In this version:
