outline_standard.png can basically be a flat black pixel, unless you want to apply the model to handheld items as well, in which case you'll want to use a transparent base with a black border around it (this is because the cube that has the outline renders in front of the normal cube when you're holding a block in 3rd person or wearing a block on the head).

Thanks! The outlines have been a huge loss, so getting them back in any form makes me thrilled.
Sky colormap is broken on Optifine
Spider eyes look derpy in low res versions
Stone stairs corners are disfunctional
Command block is gigantic
Some mob textures have visible seamlines
Some items may not appear in the left hand properly
I have tried out at once! I noticed that some texture are still missing.
some of the flowers (tulips, daisy, the blue swamp thingy)
cats
clownfish
potions and glass bottle
ship
villager zombie (I met only the cleric-type)
horses
mushroom-cow
Edit: aaand of course I forgot the most obvious ones:
- wheat and beetroot
Or is it an issue with my system? I can imagine that too.

Those aren't issues, those are textures i haven't completed.
Ok so you say you're updated to version 1.10 and your download page says you are but when you go to download any version it still gives the 1.9 version....

Yes, because the 1.9 version still works with 1.10.
Just wondering -- Are there any plans to retexture granite, diorite, and andesite? It seems kind of cheap to me that they're just retextured stone.
That's something I'd consider. Right now they're the same pattern because there'd be ugly visible seamlines if each had a different pattern. Of course there's already ugly seamlines because the differences in color are so huge...
I just want to say that I just discovered this pack and I truly love it! I can't wait until you start working on it again and I do hope you have plans to make add-ons for some of the more popular mods. I think I'd die if my entire minecraft world could be like this!
Hello all, I'm affraid I have to make a rather disappointing announcement: Triton is going to be discontinued.
Why?
Put simply, Triton's style and workflow takes far too much time and effort for me to realistically keep up. Drawing everything in a meticulously hand-cel-shaded style unfortunately takes a LOT of time compared to say, painting with a brush tool, or using pixel art. Furthermore, my standards for my own work have changed, and Triton's style just doesn't appeal to me like it used to.
What next?
Triton will still be available for download. I'll update it to the 1.11 versions pending their release (just a simple matter of changing the .mcmeta file's version, so quite doable). As for a hand-off/continuation, I would be truly honored if any competent artist(s) volunteered for such a thing, but it's honestly not something I'd recommend, since as I said, texturing for Triton is quite a timesink and I feel that such efforts could be better put to use in other packs and projects.
I don't think I'm done with Minecraft, however. A few months ago I started playing around with a new 16x style that has been quite enjoyable to work with. Another pack may be in the works. No guarantees though!
360,000
That is a LOT of downloads. Like, I really can't even wrap my head around how many downloads, how many clicks, how many individual people that is. Is it really that many? Are mediafire's stats bugged or something?
If one of those clicks was you, thank you! Thank you thank you thank you! I hope Triton brought a better, more attractive, and more stylized visual and auditory experience to your Minecraft than that default silliness Mojang would call "art". That was certainly my intention, and I feel like I accomplished that in spades. Of course, YOU'RE the one who actually grabbed ahold of the pack and made all that work worthwhile.

I had been waiting for this pack to be completed for a long time so this is very sad news. I love this pack's aesthetic, but I found it hard to use with the missing textures. I'd love to see you make a 16x pack as I have only really been using 16x textures recently. Since you are going to be updating it to 1.11 will you be updating the addons too? I enjoyed putting the iron golem voice addon over any pack.

Curse PremiumDo you mind terribly if I swipe this? Ever since Renderpass went away, and my block outlines went with it, my pack has felt somewhat incomplete.
Wait a second -- Is the pack actually released?!

Released? Yeah, has been since 2014. Complete? Sadly nope.

this resource pack is uniquely awesome! I loved it Ringoster, you got featured in my latest video if you want to check it out, here's a link
hope you can keep it up to date
i would love to use it this more.
Beautiful texture pack, I hope everything goes well, waiting patiently for minecraft 1.10.2.

Just stopping in to say THANK YOU!
This is by far my favorite texture pack, and I appreciate the time and effort you put into it.
@Ringoster I'm so looking forward to the day this pack is complete. I'll keep checking in. i love this pack!

Curse PremiumNot for quite sometime I'm afraid. I haven't had time to work on Triton for quite a while.
I hope you are enjoying it nontheless.

This makes me disappointed. I understand, of course, but that doesn't make me less sad.
