You must add pictures to your post. I forgot where the post about posting pictures to the forums is, but I'm sure you could find it without much effort.
I watched your video. It looks slightly better, but not much without the rest of a resource pack.
Try continuing on and making an entire resource pack, you might be good at it!

I'm pretty indifferent to the pack itself, and don't find it particularly realistic. It's still a marked improvement on the default rain, though, so proper respect for that.
