Great pack! May I ask what is the Skymap thing? It doesn't have a before and after gif, is it constellations?
Skymap is an MCPatcher/Optifine feature that adds Shooting Stars and other things on the Sky like clouds. (also at night you can see the Earth) Most games use Skymaps these days (even modern ones).

It already is added. its located at textures\entity\alex.png
(however it still is 32x32 instead of 64x64 because i didn't uplaod the 64x version yet.)
EDIT: Here i just uploaded the picture to Imgur you you need to skin right now : "http://i.imgur.com/b8hFIBy.png"
(after downloading just rename it to Alex.png and put it into the folder where it belongs to.)

Yo dude I have another issue report. The clock.png texture only goes halfway (through 12 hours) which causes the clock in-game to mess up when you sleep in bed.

Hmm ill look into it this is also another item i NEVER use cause i play MC for so long i know the time just by looking at the sun/Moon haha!

EDIT : Forum messed the formatting up again i liked the old one so much more... EDIT 2 : apparently Optifine released an Update where CTM Works. (however not every feature) EDIT 3 : also the Banner is fine in my opinion., "resourcepack" is right however i still call it "Texturepack" (and most people probably do too.) however i might change it.
So i finally had enough time to fix some bugs etc. and finish new textures.
so here is the 5th Version of the 1.8 Version.
I created alot this time so i guess ill use some spoilers.
Please note i now wont put the Version number at the end of the name (of the .zip)
that way you can just overwrite the old version and don't have to delete the Old Version!
so delete the old V4 version so you don't end up having 2 versions installed.
First of all i made an Addon that makes all the GUI's Gray and Simple.
also i fixed some bugs with the GUI's i found while Editing.

First of all i made Connected Textures for the 1.8 Stone Blocks.
And CT for the Sea Lantern and Sandstone also i remade the Lapis and Emerald Block CT.
Then i added Random Textures for the Coal and Iron ore, the coal can now be pitch black, greyish or even brown.
(Fun fact: i had geology and the teacher talked about Lignite (called Brown coal here in Germany) and thats where i got the idea. :P)
also the Dirt/Grass/mycel/podzol have now variants without pebbles...
The Furnace Dropper and Dispenser do have CT too and the Dropper has an Face now.
The Circled Stone brick has CT too now so you can make pillars. also the rails are now more random.

I think something messed up again, I downloaded the pack, but it was a .rar file (actually all add-ons were in .rar format as well) and there also was no version number in the file name. Did you actually update the download links?

I'm gonna be honest with you and say that I don't like it.
Here's why I don't:
Some of the textures have been changed way too much. Doors, chests, cacti, etc. really don't look all that faithful.
EDIT: I see that you added a greener cactus in the alternate textures. However, doors and chests (and I think that's a dispenser but I'm not sure because I don't use those very often) are still changed too much for my liking of a faithful pack. Props for your hard work, though.

If I recall correctly, dispensers look as if they have eye-type carvings above the hole. Yours do not.
I dunno about the dropper, I didn't even look at that in your example photos.
