Slightly Different
As I've played Minecraft I've always noticed a few things that I thought were a bit WEIRD. And no I'm not talking about the suicide bushes, I mean that some of the things you found in the wild looked a bit unlike they really should. This texture pack is something I created entirely by myself and is a very slightly modified version of Minecraft's default textures. If you've felt the same way, feel free to download the texture pack!
I'll be frequently making updates to the texture pack and might take some suggestions from nice people down in the comment section.

My goodness, the new people here really have the irritating habit of being completely oblivious to the rules, don't they?
First, while it is not against the rules, minor edit packs & default edit packs are universally hated here since they show that you put for little to no effort with your "pack."
Second, you must have pictures for your thread showing some of your textures. Or in your case, some of your minor edits.
Thanks for the comment! Sorry, I haven't been on the forum too long and this texture pack wasn't made to be something that I spend all of my time pining over. It's a texture pack I made for me and my friends with some edits to the default that make a little bit more sense. I figured maybe someone on this forum would like the pack and might like to download it.
I'm sorry that you so despise texture packs that look like the default. I guess you can go download LB Photo Realism if you're in such a huff that someone would make a texture pack that didn't take 6 years to make.

[Changelog 7/3/2014 (First Changelog FTW)]
Changed the player heads back to steve because my friends thought I was getting a bit egotistical :D.
Clocks are now analog.
Picks and Axes no longer have sticks stabbing through their heads.
Beds are no longer red.
Cake was turned to chocolate because I <3 chocolate so much.
Steve wears a darkened suit (not really necessary but Steve's default skin gets a tad boring).
Pumpkins are no longer pre-carved in the wild.
Furnace gui now includes fuel effectiveness.
Menu background changed from dirt to cobble (not really necessary again, but I think the cobble looks a lot better than boring old dirt).
Flint is now a lighter shade of gray, more like a flint arrowhead.
Shears look more like they were made with metal.
Cats are now modeled after my cats IRL.
Dark oak saplings are now a darkened version of oak saplings.
Nearly every effect changed slightly.
Resource pack arrows are now either red or green.
Paintings and signs now include neat little additions to their boring icons.
Furnace now has all cobblestone sides.
TNT looks a tad more like a bomb (also TNT minecarts).
Trapdoors no longer have windows (give me some feedback on this one, I'm not sure if people will like it).
Buckets (other than milk) no longer have drips cascading down them.
Hotbar is now glass.
Menu buttons no longer have borders,
Emeralds look a bit more like real life emeralds.
All dyes that are made by two other dyes are neatly piled up.\
Clay is now a more reddish color.
Wheat is no longer pre-wrapped.
Glister melon looks a but more like it's made of gold.
Arrow heads are now the same color as the flint.
Cookies are now sugar cookies (sorry chocolate chips, but I don't like it crunchy).
Pufferfish don't care.
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

You should add a changelog in the next update, so you can list the blocks you actually change when the screenshots don't make enough justice. Also, just recoloring a texture is not enough to make it look better (unless it's a neon colored grass one, then you might want to change it to a more desaturated color). Toy around with some designs and choose what you like most
I'm no texture artist, but I find sprite editing fun, so there's some tips for you
Thanks for the tips! I haven't really been including any changelogs near the beginning because I'm making a few edits to the texture pack every day, and we'd end up with quite a lot of changelogs. But I absolutely agree that change a textures coloring doesn't make it look better. That's NOT the goal of this texture pack. The goal of this texture pack is to look very similar to the default but with some changes I made to make it seem a little bit more realistic (clocks not showing the phases of the sun, tools not having sticks stabbing through their heads, bed's not being instantly died red after you crafted them, and so on and so forth)
If you're just editing default textures, then you should not be using an adfly link, especially since you've left all of the unchanged vanilla assets inside the pack. Also, why is your pack 109mb? o.o
