Deonyi, Please read all of what I say before making assumptions. ;P
When I said was "Collecting pictures I've taken", I meant that I have TONS of folders of photographs I've personally taken of all sorts of things, and have used parts of my own pictures.

The ONE exception to that is my moon, which is currently from a picture of one of Saturn's moons that I've had saved for over ten years now. I still plan on painting my own moon before I release my pack for download.

But yeah, thanks. And thanks for the concern, I'll see if I can reword what I wrote to avoid further misunderstandings.

Ok so the finished/unfinished lists are up, and I reworded the thing at the top of the first post entirely. Should cut out any confusions about how I work from now on. :3

This isn't a bump, it's a legit update. ^~


NEW:

• Lots if red stuff under the spoilers. My personal fav updates are the vines. I loved making them. ♥
• I updated the pictures and added more, including more biomes, gui shots, and screenshots of pictures.

I've added a poll, please don't forget to vote!

And a couple questions for you other users out there, especially other artists and future pack users:

1. I really want feedback, constructive criticism, and suggestions- so have at ye!
2. What sort of mods do you think I should add support for, and would you even use the More Pictures mod if I spend all that time creating paintings?
3. What's your favourite part of this pack so far, and what's your least favourite?

It's fantastic. There really is nothing more I have to say. Nothing is wrong with it, I don't even have suggestions to make! This is really well done.

Im surprised that all of a sudden I am finding a couple of really well done texture packs that have still not gotten the acknowledgement they deserve. Really amazing texture pack, happy to see that it is not vanilla texture with only a couple of small edits and claiming it as a full texture pack:) +1 for you

And it's update time!

I've changed my versioning from the 0.0.5 increments to whole increments and am now sitting on version 0.9. My goal is one point value away, so the next time I update the packs version number, it's NOT going to be listed in here. . . except to link to the official pack thread! I have a good number of items I really need to get done before the release though, but I feel that my "before the month is over" deadline for the upload release will indeed hold! *excitement*

I've added six new pictures to the screenshots cut, showcasing the bed, endstone, emerald blocks, torch, birch sapling and the ores and their respective blocks. I realized I hadn't shown off the ores yet. I'm really not happy with them at all, even though I made them originally from pictures of stones I own in real life- the diamond for example is far too "blown up grainy" looking compared to most of the rest of the pack. The ores will all get updated, but this won't happen until I get a lot more unfinished textures done...so sorry to say we're going to be stuck with them for a while. ^^;

My wheat, might I point out is not real-life realistic wheat. I had an interesting alien world wheat idea in mind and it sort of went from there. I like the result, and I hope everyone else will, too.

The treehouse shots are for the "teasers" appeal, and that white marble bridge? Yep. That's the endstone.


Thanks again for all the comments, and especially for all the views! I know my comments here have been slow to come, but I have taken quite a notice to all the views I've been getting here and I thoroughly appreciate seeing those numbers climb slowly. ♥

The blocks look great! The ores don't seem to embed in the stone, and the emerald block could look a little bit more realistic, same with the wheat. And I love that crescent moon! The night will probably look cool with a tree house(just my opinion). I also can't wait for the official pack thread!

creeperfighter3, could you explain how you think the emerald could be more realistic? Like, in your eyes how it stands out differently from the gold and diamond. Aside from it being so dark of course.. kind of offish about that myself, to be honest.

And also about the wheat. I sort of want it to not look like real wheat, I assume you mainly mean the bright flat lack of shading? If not, just let me know. I could use the alternate perspectives. :3

To me, the emerald looks a little like colored pencil sort of, and I'm just suggesting to kind of smooth out the shine on it a little, and yes, it's what I meant with the wheat. Sorry for being a little unclear. : P

Hmm, I'd gone out of my way here to try and sharpen the emerald up a bit to give it a more of an edge...had a feeling I should have cooled it a bit, I might actually post up a variation or two here tomorrow if you don't mind pointing out which one appeals better? And true. I was just focused with getting the animation frames for the wheat finished and wasn't so worried about the shading. Can go back over that when I have a clear head for it.

It helps a great deal when taking the plunge into something that relies so much on those old learned skills. Having access to a drawing tablet helps a lot, too. I can't draw with a mouse to save my life. *laughs*

That enderman will give me nightmares. Although the particles on the enderman seem to be from ovo's rustic redemption. You didn't take them did you?

Aah, they might actually be. I've seen the same particles file used in a lot of packs as a sort of backup. Thanks for pointing that out, I should make sure they're on my list to change before release. ^^;



Edit: or so I thought. Looks like a few things are cross-used between some texture packs but I guess the particles ARE still from Ovo's. Oops! Hmmm, now to decide how to change them. *stares at them curiously*
