Remember everything that was removed or said but never added in minecraft? Ever wished you could use those things? Now you can. Sort of.Welcome to the Minecraft Lost Ideas Texture Pack page! This is my first texture pack and I know it is not very good so please do not spam things about this texture pack sucking in the comments. Also some of the textures are messed up such as the whale and the villagers. Also please note that not all of these textures are mine. Some were taken from Mojang,Minecraft Wiki,A texture pack and Dr. Zhark's mo-creatures mod. I am working on adding pictures but without further ado here is the list of things added.

4)Squid=Whale
5)Emerald=Ruby

Yes. Please familiarize yourself with the forum rules. In particular, the rule where you're required to post pictures for videos for any downloadable content in this section.
Rules aside, nobody cares about a pack they haven't seen screenshots of first. Fix your post and you're more likely to get feedback.
Please don't take this the wrong way but... do I really need to point out how bad this looks? I'd love to offer you a proper critique, but I think the image pretty much speaks for itself.
You can't just rename a skin and expect that Minecraft is going to figure out how to apply it to a model. Every mob in Minecraft has a specific layout. You can find templates here. This means that you're going to have to do some rather serious editing work to make the and pigman skins match the layout of the villagers.
In addition, the ruby block doesn't look very good. Compare it to the default emerald and you'll see a world of difference. The default has shading and highlight. Yours looks more like it was painted onto a blank canvas. If you're going to make the goal of this pack to bring forth the lost ideas of Minecraft, you're going to have to make artwork that fits into the default pack.

I did say in the post that this was my first texture pack and NOT to spam things about how horrible it looks. I know I need to do editing and that is what I am working on now. This is still a WIP! (It is v 1.0 though)But thanks
You should probably have posted it in WIP Resource Packs if you didn't want it to be treated as a finished product.
As for your request not to be told how bad it looks... here's the thing: if something you make looks bad and you don't want people to comment on how bad it looks then you should fix it before you make it public. If you make things that look bad public, people are going to point it out. That's just how the internet works. Sorry if that disagrees with you.
I'm trying. I should have put "Looking for testers". I am editing it. All things are a WIP really. Minecraft is still a WIP. Hope SOMEONE will enjoy this.

The hamburger sprite looks pretty good though.

ModeratorAs for your request not to be told how bad it looks... here's the thing: if something you make looks bad and you don't want people to comment on how bad it looks then you should fix it before you make it public. If you make things that look bad public, people are going to point it out. That's just how the internet works. Sorry if that disagrees with you.
