Harmony is my tenth generation texture pack. It is inspired by Sphax's continuity but it attempts to be 'a little more realistic'. It is called Harmony because it strives to fit everything together through the use of recurring shapes, color and tessellations.
I intend to support future release of Minecraft. The mods I support will directly coincide with Direwolf20's FTB mod pack and will be updated when he chooses to start a new modpack.
I am currently on break, but will be considering adding support for Forestry, Thermal Expansion, Buildcraft and Industrial Craft2.
I am willing to desaturate the bricks a bit if more think it's necessary. Thank you for taking a look this.
I actually like it for the most part, though the sand and sandstone do seem a bit vibrant compared to the rest of this pack.
Overall, it looks like ti has a nice balance of realism and illustration. I really like how joyful and peaceful it seems. Probably why you chose the name, eh?

Very much so. I was aiming for textures that looked like "they came from a reality where things are cube shaped." Thank you for your input.
When I complete one of the mod support packs, I'll be sure to revisit the base and tweek sand, sandstone, and bricks.
Very good leaves, vines, and cobblestone + mossy cobblestone. The glowstone being embedded in netherrack is interesting, I don't think I've seen it done that way before. The ores and mossy stone bricks look odd, though.

Could you elaborate on 'ores and mossy stone bricks look odd'? I would be interested to work out what might be done to improve them. Which resolution are you viewing, btw?
De-saturated Bricks, Blue, Cyan, Purple, Magenta and Red wool.
re-tooled some of the ores For 32x and 16x resolutions. (Note that I view < 64x as a 'quick fix' for slower systems, not a full fledged texture pack I will support strongly.)
Current work is on Biomes O Plenty support, and Bibliowoods for BoP.
Great texture pack, the fact that I can play with the 128x and my game doesn't lag is amazing. I have looking and don't like the Spruce Wood and the Ores but other then that your texture pack is the best one I have used.Keep up the great work man.

For my wood colors, I first googled the said woods and roughly adopted the more common results. There are several types of spruce woods available commercially, and I differ from vanilla's choice in that I selected the lighter one. I know it is a jump to transition from other texture packs to this one, but by now I'm so comfortable with THIS spruce, that I simply won't change it. The ores are a bit disappointing stand alone, but they fit the process (jagged tessellation for hardened stone and color-coded for their ore type) They will not be changed, but when I start another texture pack (because I can't stop making them), I'll try for something better.
I appreciate the encouragement, thank you for looking into this.
Amazing pack from what I can tell, how much of is done at the moment?
Complete overhaul of Minecraft Vanilla, as of 1.7.2. the mod support ones are also complete overhauls of their mods, but for 1.6.4 since that's the level I'm using [all mod development will be compatible with the ones in the Direwolf20 modpack since that's what I use]
This looks great though I don't like the style of grass - just my thoughts. I think it would look better if the grass had more of a shadow underneath it onto the dirt and if the dirt was a little smoother but had darker outlines.
I appreciate this.
The grass was probably the very first texture made for this pack. I had established my 'round' tessellation (cobblestone) and wanted the grass to fall into this. I ended up "putting clumps in the circular areas and was afraid to put much contrast into it for fear of the visual effect when viewing vast distances of the pattern.
I will review the grass after Tinkers Construct and Natura, and see if I can't make it look 'more like grass' and less like the 'fuzzy ground cover' it is now.

Good Flippin' Gravy, that's embarrassing. THANK YOU for catching that. Corrected.
