Please familiarize yourself with the Forum Rules. In particular, the section specific rules that state that you must have pictures or videos embedded in your post for all threads in this section. If you don't know how to post pictures in your post, here's a nice Tutorial on how to do that.
Also, nobody cares about a pack with no pictures. Few people, if anyone, will bother with this pack if they can't see it first. Additionally, you really should put your pack name in the title. "My First Resource Pack" doesn't fill anyone with confidence that this will be a quality product. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I sincerely hope you put more effort into your pack than you have into your presentation.
I think this person is a bit young, everyone just step away slowly.
Why? The OP is going to have to learn sooner or later that not everything he does is going to meet with approval. This is especially important if he is young since parents and schools don't provide children with realistic feedback on their own abilities anymore. If his ego gets a little bruised, GOOD! He'll either bounce back and try harder, or go off in a huff with a heightened awareness of how others perceive his work. Either way he'll learn from the experience. Better for all involved I say.
Not only is the pack horrible and not even close to being finished, but you need to realize where you're posting this. People come here looking for something with quality and effort. If you really want to share it, at least post it in "WIP Resource Packs".

Uh huh. That's fine, but it doesn't mean that you're exempt from the rules. The Imgur 404 screen doesn't count as showing pictures, so you should probably fix that as soon as possible, OK?
Hey, I feel that everyone else is coming on a bit harsh on this kid, although I'm not saying his resource pack particularly good..... Um if good is appropriate for this resource pack.... no offence but I feel that spent absolutely minimum time on this. If it's a work in progress at least show us work that took a reasonable amount of time.
When you learn to understand that making a good resource pack takes time, I just want to point out that most the colors are too bright and just a solid block of color. Thank you.
I'm with MineTreeActor on this. I mean the pack isn't great, but you guys are being kind of dickish here (especially given the fact you're under the assumption the OP is young.) Not saying you need to sugar coat everything, but I get the feeling this would have gone a lot better if the first response was "This pack sucks."
Things missing here:
*Hard work
*Shading
*More than one color per block
*Colors that won't give you eye cancer
*A theme
*Transparency
*More than a couple blocks
*Good screenshots
I'm not saying I'm the best texture creator in the world, but I know that you could do seventy thousand times better on this "texture pack"
than the work that you have given us at the moment.
I might be able to provide you tips on how to make these textures not really terrible and painful to look at.
Also you should probably wait until it actually has something worth using it for before you put it on here!

From how you are acting towards others on this thread, you obviously have no idea what Constructional Criticism is. We're saying your pack is terrible because it is is ways. First off, the theme, 'bright colors' is no theme at all. You've just done bucket-fills over some of the default textures, which is never received well on these forums. Also, the colors used are blinding to look at. Those two factors make for an awful first pack.
Also, you're in no position to say "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." If you allow us to see & download your pack, you are opening yourself up to criticism of your pack. While I do think people could say things other than, "Gawd, this pack sucks big time," you need to use the criticism to better your pack. When you listen to the people who are trying to better your product, you do much better than being stubborn and staying with the original.
