I reckon the reason that it'll crash is because it utilises the new custom block models feature in 14w06b. I check the reddit thread, and found the teapot models, but I'm not sure if he has given anyone permission.
The the OP, you do need to have pictures as well as permission, people won't download anything without pictures, but they may even without permission from the maker.
What this does is retexture the flowers to more of a solid texture, corresponding to the color of the flower.
It doesn't work. I suspect the models are UV mapped incorrectly. But just by guessing, I think all the flowers are supposed to look like colored flowerpots.
The main feature is the flowers.json file. However, since it's borked I can't tell exactly what it's supposed to do. It doesn't help that he has so many vertices specified in it without any documentation. There's almost a thousand vertices. He's definitely done something wrong. The hitboxes appear in-game, but they have no texture.
Also, it's not stolen. The only reason he credited MrCheeze is because he saw Cheeze's Reddit post about the new json model format. He didn't need to give any credit because it comes from Mojang.
I'll try and fix it with my magic.There's no fixing it.
