Ever wanted your Minecraft world to be filled to the brim with candies and makeup?
Well, look no further! With Pastelvision you can have exactly that!
What exactly does Pastelvision change? Well... Just about everything!
Watch out for that delicious chocolate mix volcano! Mmm... yummy...
Caves will be livened up with cookies and cake, and I'm surprised those pocky blazes haven't melted yet!
Dungeons a little too scary for you? No worries, just light them up with a birthday candle!
There's far much more edited beyond this - you can travel around and find Applejack or Fluttershy! Don't hug the smiling creepers, though, or you'll be seeing moons and stars!
Pastelvision has WIP support for a few mods, and I'm hoping to support more in the future.
Vanilla Minecraft also has a language file, changing several item names, block names, death messages and more!

-- I can't stop anybody from editing textures in this pack, but I do not want to see any textures in this pack be redistributed, whether or not you have edited them. If you must edit textures, do so for your own enjoyment.

Some of the colours are very harsh, especially the grass. I think you could get away with desaturating a lot of the blocks and still keep the pastel feel without making it painful to look at.
I don't believe it's as thoughtless as bucket fill resource packs, thank you. It's meant to be pinker and brighter than other resource packs.
If enough people see such a problem with the grass then yes, I likely will change it. But two isn't quite enough. After all, I have other textures in mind that I'd like to change, such as nether brick, and since I don't see the problem with grass it's not on my list unless enough people, who are actually interested in using it, want it changed.
People won't be interested in using it if it makes their eyes hurt. Two people in under a half hour commented that it was too bright. And it is bucketfill. There very little, if any shading to any of the blocks, which is what bucketfill means. It's okay to start off with bucketfill for your base colour, but you really have to go from there. Add at least some shading and highlight, because without it, everything looks flat and textureless. Toning down the saturation would be a good start, but it would only be a start.
No, I am not interested in using this pack right now, because what you've posted does not appeal to me. I can't even look at the preview images for very long without getting a headache. Why would that make me want to use the pack?
Three thousand people seem to enjoy it. It's not the next Sphax, but that doesn't matter to me.
It's the way that I like it and the way that those three thousand others like it. If I get criticisms from those actually interested in using it, okay, I'll see what I can do. If you're not interested, you're not interested.
I'm fine with other textures, too, at least some. Those that I'm not fine with I'll change as I please, or at the request from enough people.

Alright heres my mean side: PMC is FULL of people that download random stuff for the heck of it.
Nicely, I suggest that you sharpen your textures, It looks like there is a giant blob on everything. Or at least, the non bucket filled things.

Then why is it called "pastelvision" if its not even pastel... like, at all...
You don't have to be interested in using something to give feedback on it. You are just being stubborn because someone said they didn't like something. If you want a better pack and/or to get better at making textures, then heed the words of those who criticize your work, not the ones who praise it.
The idea's a good one! Unfortunately, all of the colors are incredibly bright - for someone who's favorite colors are yellow and red, that's a surprise! :-0
The wood colors don't match at all, and need to be toned down a bit - this isn't pastel. This is more like neon. Maybe neonvison is a better name - it'd fit better :>
The grass looks like bucket fill completely, and while not excruciatingly bright, still very out of place. I know this is your first texture, so keep in mind shading is very important. Alternately, geometric patterns is a good way to make your texture more interesting.
Most of the scratch work looks off and out of place, unfortunately. That's a shame, as there are some genuinely good ideas that are lost in the poor quality of the scratchwork.
All in all, after reviewing the texture with a couple friends, It's a good idea. But the quality of the texture means that a good idea is lost on something that's so eyeblinding and non pastel, it's only good for a few laughs. :<
I wish you luck, and I think this texture has plenty of potential. Just keep practicing!

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
