It's been a while since this thread was updated, and let me just say how awesome it is that there are those that want Misa's Texture pack to be preserved and updated for future Minecrafters to enjoy. This texture pack is in a league of it's own even to this day, and after countless hours of searching I have not found another that gives me the same feeling as this pack. No other pack has such advanced features and tasteful textures, in my opinion. I intend to spread awareness of this texture pack by whatever means I can, so as to attract more people of artistic talent to update this pack and bring it back to its former glory.
I've looked through the upcoming 1.12 snapshots and managed to do some quick mock-ups for the beds, you can thank Misa for 99% of the textures, they were originally alternative wool texures I've adapted, not great but every little helps. bonus picture concrete and powder (cheesy re-colours, but its the best you're gonna get from me ).
I have the current set of patches for 1.11.2 to be mostly complete. Maybe it's time for me to trawl the forums again for more fan inspired contributions like the excellent work of "lescard60" and "Uniquitous". If I have missed someone, sorry and thanks.

I've got most of the new beds done, but unfortunately not had a lot of time to do any significant work on the new recipe ui. You can probably expect an update from me late next month if you're lucky and the winds in the right direction

– Updated texture for observer block
– Added a new GUI (recipe book and achievements)
– Added textures for parrots
– Added texture for Illusioner
Using Misa's pack + Les' patch + My patch should work fine under 1.10.2, if not let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

nope, Misa is the legend, all I've done is some simple cut & pasting, without her I'd have nothing to work with

I'll probably change it later since I don't really like the way trap doors open without regard to placement

Not dead yet, I've given the textures I've done to Bidjiguks so he can release them in his patch.

Horse models getting changed for 1.13, it doesn't look pretty
It's truly horrible when Misa's original textures become broken. Hopefully a suitable workaround is found that keeps the random mob textures in tact.
It'll be a lot of work, I had a brief look and I'm not even going to think about it.
Changes like these really get on my nerves, too. The old horse models were just fine, lol.
The latest snapshot is out, and a lot is broken resource pack wise, looks like a lot of textures have been renamed.
ie.
terracotta_glazed_blue ---> blue_glazed_terracotta
concrete_powder_lime ---> lime_concrete_powder
beetroots_stage_0 ---> beetroots_stage0
planks_birch ---> birch_planks
wool_colored_black ---> black_wool
etc...
But its not all bad, 6 new bark blocks, 3 new mushroom blocks, and pressure plates, buttons and trapdoors that were missing are now present.
