I've no idea what changes have been made to the font file system since I last worked on the pack, but I do know I went out of my way to include the Eszett in my pack given the large proportion of German downloaders. I remember it being a special case though and I had to do so through editing the unicode-only files. (the standard font support is extended ASCII) Anyway the file that needed to be edited at the time was unicode_page_00.png. When Unicode support was added to the game, it still referenced the ASCII file for those characters instead of unicode and just mixed the two together. Dunno if that helps any or if it's still in my uploaded version of the pack, but here's that file from one of my working folders if anything can be salvaged from it.
Att one point I even had made my own custom Japanese (well hiragana and katakana) font support, but had to remove it due to one of many changes made to the font system that broke it. That and I had originally planned to do all the kanji as well, but it just got pushed off to the side due to prioritizing of other features and I don't think that many players would've appreciated the effort.
Maybe it's just my faulty memory, but, didn't Misa's Glass blocks used to be connected like the panes currently are?
Or is it just because I'm using OptiFine? lol.
I know that Misa specifically stated we need MCPatcher for all her textures to work properly. However, MCPatcher hasn't been updated for quite some time. On another note, I actually tried to edit Glass blocks myself, but... the result was a literal invisible block:
I guess it works though, at least until someone can point me in the right direction.

Hey Quavelen, yes the glass blocks were connected and the CTM files are still present in Misa's texture pack. As you suspect, Optifine isn't using them for some reason. Maybe someone can spot a quick fix but I've only tested optifine once, and no idea how it works. I'll have to do some research but time is very limited for me right now. And now I've got to fix the missing German eszett bug....that's a real game breaker for me!
Great resource pack I just think you should texture every block cause it aint work that great for me
Be sure you're using Misa's latest version. Everything seems to be working pretty well at the moment. Click on her Main Download link and not the mirror. If anything specific isn't working in my patch, let me know.
Have fun!

Huh... well, I guess I could go poke someone on the OptiFine thread then. The creator is rather active; already updated to 1.9.2 lol. Hopefully someone there will be able to sort it out, if you're unable to. Thank you for responding. =)
I think I fixed this. What I did was I deleted the glass_block folder because the textures there weren't transparent and renamed the glass_blockframe to glass_block then I edited the properties file to this:
After doing that, copy all 48 textures from ''ctm\glass_paneframe'' and paste them over the ''ctm/glass_block'' textures. It functions perfectly, as far as patches go:

Hey Quavelen, glad someone could help you in the optifine forums. I was just looking at your post and reply there From the look of it, optifine doesn't support "renderpass" which is used by mcpatcher. Since I can't delete folders and copy files in Misa's post, I guess everyone will have to try this if they want connected glass. From what I can see though, you're only seeing the glass frame with no glass texture at all (overlay). It works, but hopefully mcpatcher will be updated.

Oh... well, that would make sense, as to why Misa said that we need MCPatcher then. And yeah, I would expect anyone to modify it themselves, for their own personal use. I do worry that the MCPatcher creator left, though... The last update, was for MineCraft 1.8.7, their last post was in February 2015 and they were last 'online', in June 2015. I hope I'm incorrect. =/

From what I understand, renderpass has not worked at all in MCPatcher since 1.7, due to Mojang changing transparency properties in a futile effort to prevent there being xray resource packs. It's a terrible thing that they did that, because now overlays on the glass are pretty much impossible.
Just saw that the icon in the enchantment table (the experience orb on the enchantment preview side) is missing, it was added in 1.9 (or 1.8 xD)
The elder guardian texture is also the blue guardian
Thanks for letting me know. I fixed it and squashed a couple other bugs (Steve texture and Eszett). Also Kumasasa said Optifine seemed to be working with connected textures so I removed my residual files. Hope it works, I'll have to try it later.
I'm working on some other projects so just let me know if I miss something.
Thanks,
Les
Ok guys, I got some time to work on the new snapshot content. I added the Stray and Husk mobs but still need to finish the polar bear (lots more work). Also added the new blocks: magma block, nether wart block, red nether brick, and bone block.
They are all "snapshot" ready but I'll probably tweak them when I get more time. Oh, and no, I haven't forgotten the zombie and skeleton horses....sigh. They just won't turn out like I want them.

Wow. This is awesome... Thank you, Les! I was curious if you'd be posting about it, soon. =) And don't worry! I'm certain that all us Misa lovers will be happy with what you come up with. You seem to have mastered her specific art style.

Greetings! it's fantastic to see you continuing the amazing mod, but one problem ( haven't played minecraft in a while, so i'm rusty)
i installed the latest patch but i thought everything included would have it propperly updated, but it isn't. am i doing something wrong? secondly: what does the stealth update patch do and how does it work?
three: Do i need to install the 1.8 update plus the patch for it all to work? or is there one link that has everything all recently updated ( and i mean everything) as i said, i was using a patch but only some of the things worked. i disabled the older updates, assuming it was all fine. Should i redownload the 1.8 link here?

Just download the two files (Les Misa+ patch.zip) on page one of this thread and click on the link right below that to take you to Misa's thread. Here, she posted a direct link to her latest pack (stealth update) which includes the other items that I removed from 1.8. That's it....don't use my old 1.8 patch.
Enjoy,

German Sharp-S (ß) not shown in the font
Hi Les,
Minecraft 1.9.2 + Misa's + Your Patch omits the German Sharp-S (Menus, chat).
When using Misa's without your patch (default Minecraft font), then the Sharp-S is shown.
Any idea ?
Edit: Not Umlauts are affected, but the Sharp-S

Okay, posted.
Big edit:

I'm not much of a realistic textures pack type of guy but I'm considering trying this one out
