A semi-realistic texture pack of modded minecraft stones and ores at x64 resolution.
This pack contains ONLY stones and ores.
Vanilla ores, as well as stone, gravel, netherrack, sandstone, and endstone are included to ensure modded ores and stones do not clash.
All Textures are adapted (or Defiled) from the artists listed in credits. Credits:
Original Stone, gravel and Vanilla Ore Textures provided by: CrEaTiVe_ONE in his "Medieval Texture Pack"
Endstone textures, basis for many other stones,
by GSC Game World "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl"
Acquired Via Opti3000 and his "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Minecraft" x64 resource pack.

(2) Open "Eben's Ore.zip"
(3) Drag files from "Eben's Ore.zip" into your texture pack of choice.

Changelog
1.5 - many mods added
Black Granite texture changed, as I discovered old texture was difficult to distinguish from Abyssal in game.
Mods that do not have complete support yet added.
Request for texture donations added to Resourcepack Help forum.
Chisel Holystone added to match Aether Holystone.
1.1 - added Thaumcraft
added Lanteacraft
Fixed Metallurgy
1.0 - initial release, unnumbered zip file
John Smith Technician's Remix (what I use, best mod support for a non-cartoon-style texture pack). CrEaTiVe_ONE's Medieval Texture Pack Best match with my textures, no mod support. Glimmar's Steampunk Nice High definition pack with lots of CTM. Has community Mod support administered by ksheep. Broken Anachronism Another Steampunk High-res pack, lots and LOTS of animated textures. NOT for everyone. Default ore textures are extremely unconventional; if using with Eben's Ore, overwrite with extreme prejudice. No mod support that I am aware of. Battered Old Stuff Probably the second best High Resolution texture pack when it comes to Mod support. More of a "diesel-punk" than steampunk feel in the mod support. Can be used to fill gaps in mod support with the above two. OZOCRAFT less realistic, but still quite nice. Slightly higher on the realism spectrum than John Smith, but not much. No known mod support. Misa's Realistic Probably the most realistic/beautiful x64 texture pack available. Not yet updated to 1.7; some mod support by third parties. (1.7 patch also available from pscof42.
Wait, you can have a partial texture pack? How has that never occurred to me?!?
Anyway, looks cool.
Suggestions*:
ARS Magica (Vinteum, Chimerite, Blue Topaz, Moonstone, Sunstone)
ReactorCraft (Calcite, Indium, Cadmium, various Fluorites)
Artifice (Marble+Basalt, plus cobble and various brick, slab, paver, etc. variants)
GeoStrata (Lots of new stone types, with smooth, cobble, and brick forms of each)
Arcane Scrolls (Forget what the ore is called, there's only one)
The Erebus (1 new stone type, several mossy, brick, and cobble variants and a couple ores: Amber, Fossil)
Also, judging from the Railcraft Saltpeter pic, you've made new textures for Sandstone, but it's not mentioned in the OP.
ARS Magica is planned: I had it but was denied permission to release altered textures of that artist's work.
Arcane scrolls is on my list already, I will take a look at Reactorcraft and Erebus.
Artiface will probobly be included; however, I am not doing cobble, brick, etc, in this pack because those should match, whatever other texture pack you are using. I AM, however, contributing to John Smith Technician's Remix (JSTR) where I do all of these; I made sure to color-match my stone textures with those available in JSTR so that nothing clashes.
GeoStrata is already included.
The most amazing thing, in my opinion, is that, so far, all supported mods will run together. I know that will change when I get to GT and/or Aether, whichever comes first, which is part of why they are at the bottom of my list.
*sigh*
Been working on this, and I'm going to have to make a couple decisions, and would appreciate input.
First off, there is Aluminum and Aluminium. Same material, with a US English and UK English spelling; two different Ore dictionary entries. Should the two ores have the same texture or not?
Then we come to Copper, Native Copper, and Tetrahedrite, which is a naturally occurring copper alloy ore. Haven't checked the ore dictionary (don't know how other than using a MFR Unifier or similar in-game machine), but I need to figure out if they should be two or three textures. AND, I have at least two mods with "Native Copper", are they even the same in the Ore Dictionary? One could be using the term to mean "Naturally Occurring Pure Copper", ie: "copper ore" as we usually think of it, in opposition to tetrahedrite. While the other mod could be using the term as "Copper, in it's natural, alloyed, form" ie: tetrahedrite!
Then there are the other oddities in the 37 mods I have assigned myself.
Adamantium and Adamantine - same or different? Mithril and Mythril? Bitumen Ore and Bituminous Coal?
TerraFirmaCraft has Lignite Ore, Underground Biomes has a stoine called Lignite that shatters into dust when broken. Same or different?
*sigh*
Spent all evening building a giant spreadsheet to help me figure all this out, instead of spinning my wheels making redundant textures, and now its time to hit the sack (work starts at 0500) and I haven't even opened paint.net.
Next release should be relatively soon, but may have a lot of partially supported mods.

Curse PremiumMinecraft is really lacking mod support when it comes to resource packs, keep it up!
