Hey I saw this Texture Pack and I liked it a lot. I want to make a video on it and post it on my channel but the only thing is we have to come to an agreement. If I make this video and post it on my channel to drive some more traffic to this Texture Pack for the Christmas Season you put my video in the forum post. That way we both benefit from this and you guys get an amazing texture pack review in quality hd content! Let me know if you guys would like for me to make this video!
3 years later and I've overhauled my Christmas resource pack, and updated it for 1.11. The most striking difference is the terrain, with changes to leaves, grass, and water. Thanks to custom block models and the like, leaves are no longer affected by the colormap! So I had a lot more freedom texturing foliage this time. I hope you enjoy!
All screenshots have been updated as well to reflect the changes.

Strange how I've not seen this before! I've always used Painterly Pack for christmas texture pack, but that's very different from default. Nice work with this pack, it seems you have put much time into it!
Thanks for keeping it updated to the latest versions too!
However, looking into the folders, I think you've included a lot of default textures that should be removed. Like the furnace, enchanting table, frosted ice, cookies... You should go through it and remove any files that you have not edited.
Edit: Because of that you use some vanilla textures without editing them, your 1.11 pack is actually not compatible with 1.11. Look at the horse GUI for example.
Edit 2: Other than the duplicate textures, the widgets.png image has the old off-hand slot texture. Compare with 1.11.
Thanks for letting me know. (I think) I fixed all 1.11 errors with version 2.3.
Thanks for getting back to me! I'm using a tool called rmlint which compares files and folders for duplicate files. If I use it to compare your pack and 1.10.2 vanilla texturepack, it still finds a lot of duplicate files. When running this, I get a json file with information. This file should include all the times that are duplicates, and were removed. Maybe it is useful for you? https://gist.github.com/df63ec83abb76fea6dae51fa20c1320e
I like it! Very festive yet true to vanilla. My kind of pack!
I have a few suggestions:
Could you make a texture to fix the lights showing on the top and bottom of the iron bar texture?
Maybe skeletons can have green elf caps like how the zombies have red Santa caps.
I feel actual snow and creepers blend in too well with the environment. I propose that grass just be dusted with snow like the leaves and that creepers have a light grey or bluish tint to them.
A very minor suggestion, but add a little glow to the inside of ender chests like it's a magical portal.
Another minor suggestion: adding strings of lights to the edges of inventory windows!
Again, liking this pack a lot! Found out about it through OMGcraft. Happy holidays!
Edit: Slime blocks lack the blue texture and some inventory items don't reflect their texture change.
Thanks for the tool, I think I actually fixed it this time. And I'm not sure how to fix the issue with optifine... sorry. I actually based this pack on painterly way back in 2013, but I kind of wanted it to be closer to default, so I opted not to make all stone ice. Thanks for your other suggestions though, I'll see how to make those fit.
ProSuperstar:
I implemented all of your fixes, and I added the green hats to the skeletons, and shaded the creepers a little more. Thanks for letting me know about the shoutout, it was very flattering!
Version 2.5 should address all these issues. (plus some bonus additions!)

Thanks for response and for updating the pack!
I ran the tool again against 1.10.2 to make sure, and you removed all duplicate textures it seems except the water_overlay.png.
I will see myself if I can figure out what the issue with bettergrass is. I'll let you know if I find out.
Interesting... I suppose you could do some alternative textures, maybe an "extension" pack where it only has stone textures that are ice-like. So if you want the "ice stone", you download that extension pack.
Hey! Thanks for the fixes! I found more bugs if you so choose to fix them:
Wreaths show up on the top, bottom, and sides of doors. (Thanks for adding them to the rest of the doors, though!)
Tall grass is rendered as a magenta block when using Optifine. Seems unaffected by any settings including bettergrass. Similar blocks like flowers and double tall grass seem unaffected. (However, this could not be a bug, but an error on my part. If so, I would like some help with fixing it.)
I'm still being surprised by invisible creepers. I suggest giving them a scarf to help them stand out more.
ragger: I haven't uploaded it yet but I deleted water_overlay in the current version. Thanks again I'm considering an add-on pack, I'll let you know what comes of it
sixfootblue: Thanks so much! Glad you like it.
ProSuperstar: I've heard about lots of issues with optifine. I'm going to download it myself and see if I can pinpoint these issues. Thanks for the heads up on creepers, I don't play much anymore so I appreciate the insight. Doors are a work in progress, I'm going to need to make some changes with block models.
I'm glad you guys like the ghast, I was hesitant cause this is the only texture that totally strays from default.
ProSuperstar: I tried adding scarfs to creepers but I couldn't draw them in a way I was happy with. I did try another iteration of your previous suggestion though, and gave them blue icy feet. Just a little more color variety, to help them stand out more. Tell me what you think!
Also...
ragger AND ProSuperstar: As you can see in the background, I've fixed the issues with Optifine

But don't remove any .mcmeta files, I think!
Also this happens when using bettergrass: https://i.imgur.com/h0w7viZ.png
I have some ideas that are from Painterly Pack's christmas textures.
Creeper, zombie and pigman have santa clothes.I like it! Very festive yet true to vanilla. My kind of pack!

Curse PremiumThat ghast is shaped like a friend. Too bad its fireballs tell a different story.
That's an adorable retexture though.
That looks funny! I can see myself laughing while equally terrified of a fight with this giant, floating snowman head. Nice work! haha

2.6 coming VERY soon.
That looks pretty good! A little blue to contrast to the white. Also thanks for fixing the tall grass. Very appreciated!

Curse PremiumPack Updated for 2.7, AND add-on pack.
Update 2.7 changes Ornaments to dyes
The add-on makes all stone icy and sand snowy!
Enjoy!
Nice! Maybe the diorite/granite/andesite should be icy too?
This is awesome!! Thanks for the update!
