I'm loving the texture pack so far. Now I have something to replace Dandelion. I just can't seem to get the torch's flame to burn. There's no fire there. I tried patching it using mcpatcher but it wasn't working. I might've patched it wrong I cant seem to get the hang of it. Help?
That's weird. I assure you, however, that I haven't misplaced the torch flame. I haven't even touched it, in fact, so you should be seeing the default flame.
There's a lot of SNES games I'm trying to remember the names of when looking at this pack. reds/purples/burgundy seemed quite prominent in textures of that era.
Some simple preemptive "tinkering" I did.
Now just gotta figure out what I'll do for the casting basin.

Not sure what mod this is for, but any mod compatibly work gets a thumbs up from me. :]

Hey Steel. Haven't seen you in forever, not since I got involved with the angry charge to do something about the current copyright policy for the forums as it was being implemented via hanging out in the Enchanted thread -- Whatever happened to Enchanted, anyway?
I've been thinking lately I wanted a forum thread to hang out it somewhere on the Internet, and I like you, so I might set up camp here for a bit. And start using this pack.
As for obsidian, chunky obsidian never looks right to me, I'm in the smooth-and-royal-purple camp myself, but heck I've seen red chunky obsidian in Starbound and it worked. If you're gonna go with chunky obsidian, highly-defined lines between the chunks makes it look old-school video game. Which is cool if that's the look you're going for, but it breaks immersion for me, makes me notice I'm playing a game all of a sudden. And I agree with corner about turning the right obsidian texture into endstone. The one on the left is gonna have massive tiling issues because of the piece made by the corners that looks like a butt.
This resourcepack is quite similar to this pack: http://www.minecraft...-dusk-pack-v25/
Not saying that you copied it or anything, it's just that the pack in the link(The dusk pack) got discontinued in version 1.3, and your pack just reminds me of it. Brings back old memories. I used to absolutely love the dusk pack, so needless to say I became upset when it got discontinued ): Thankfully, pixel daydreams seems to fill in the dusk pack-less hole in my heart
Steelfeathers, you never cease to amaze me with your talent for making textures. It would be a sad day in the minecraft world if you ever lost inspiration to make textures.
Love the pack. Please keep working on it, I can't wait to see all the finished mobs.
My favorite textures would have to be dirt (I still don't understand how you've managed to make DIRT out of all things appealing), wood logs, pumpkin, red mushroom block, glowstone, and the bookshelves (I cannot begin to tell you how much I love the bookshelves).
"(Please note: I am not giving permission for the use of my textures at this time. Don't bother to send me a PM, because the answer will still be no.)"

Also steelfeathers has not posted in this thread for a year.
Does this mean you're still interested in it? (If not... do you take bribes? ) I realize the thread is old but I have to at least ask.
I know I'm just one person, but I have to say this pack has a really great and unique style. Even though it's far from finished I still find myself switching to it every so often. You've done some great work with this pack so far and I personally think it has the potential to be one of the best 16x packs out there.
Looking forward to it. Your mod support is always welcome.

Thanks for the heads up.

Tinker's Construct by mDiyo. Usually I do Iron Chests first but I'll have to find a way to make it work with the colour palette
If you're curious, that's furnace slabs, gravel ore, copper ore, a crafting station and crafting slabs in the first pic, and a smeltery in the second.

I noticed this pack hasn't been moved to the "discontinued" section of your texture thread; in fact, it's at the very top of the list:
