Take a look at your blocks. They have no shading. They would look a lot better with sahding and more detail overall. Try to improve that.

ok here is a little Minecraft fact. When you add less color to a pack, it has NOTHING to do with decreasing lag at all, that's because the resolution is the same. The game renders by how many pixels there are, not how many colors there are. You can have a pack like mine (Buldercraft) and have a pack like yours (simple pack) and you will have no speed difference because they are both 16x16. I recommend listening to CopperCookie because he knows what he is talking about. If you don't, you will only get more comments that say you need more shading.
