This is a pack, made by me. It symbolizes the meanings of things, and also stuff.I mean, it's just a texture pack. Whatever, big deal, right?
This pack was a little project I started a while ago. I wanted to create that, uh, one feel, texture packs like mine produce. Western, rustic, fantasy, i really have no clue. Maybe i need to hire a private detective for that kinda stuff. I took a whole heck of a lot of inspiration from packs like Jolicraft, Summerfields, and Greatwood.
Bear with me for a moment, this is heavily in progress, so a lot of these are subject to change, and there are a few default textures thrown in there.
And for those technical types who know what they are doing:
I'm incredibly sorry, people. I hit a button while typing the thing up, than it posted it before i was done. I fixed it now. And I guess I can make a download link.
Wow! Given the title I was fully expecting this to be garbage that some bored elementary school student threw together in a few minutes. This... this is NOT what I was expecting!
This is GOOD! Impressive even!
I'm not a fan of the patterns in the grass or on the netherrack. That said, it's not really disruptive to the feel of the pack, so even this isn't all that much of a useful criticism.
Anyway, Excellent work! I look forward to seeing this pack move more towards completion.
These textures are a lot more impressive than I expected. The title make me expect something with little effort, and when I came in, you hadn't fixed the screenshots yet, so I honestly expected even less. Now that I see it, these are really nice! It has a style similar to Greatwood, which is a very good thing!
I actually really like the duel-layered side grass texture. For 16x16, it gives a lot of depth in the hanging grass.
Nice job! I hope you continue with this. I will agree with Alvoria on the Netherrack though: being such an abundant block, it's texture should tile.

I don't find the Netherrack bad at all, what's so horrid about it?
Look at the last screenshot. It has a grid error. There is a dark square around each texture with greater contrast than within the texture itself, and considering it is the most abundant block in the game, it needs to tile. If it has an outline, it will not look good naturally in such numbers. The texture itself isn't that bad, it could be useful as something else with a hue change, but netherrack must tile simply due to it's sheer number.

Yeah, I have already turned it into bedrock, but I'm not too sure i want to keep it like that.
I've come up with this (top is the soulsand, on the bottom is the netherrack all fixed up.)
If only i could change my username

Curse PremiumI only don't like that you thought of that plank texture- before me. I love it.
"Dull" as in the color scheme. At least, by my standards (which may not be very up-to-snuff.)

Curse PremiumThe lines on the birch are too dark, and the netherack looks horrible, though.
