I have a request of you Mr. Maffhew. I came to the realization today that your red carpet is simply amazing. I was wondering if you could make some of the other carpets with those fancy designs because it really looks nice.
Not a big fan of it since it could ruin window mosaics. I suggest a simpler design that doesn't really stand out too much attention like the blue or green one.
I think the designs look similar enough that they would still work well for mosaics and such. I really like the subtle differences. I think you've found the perfect balance of unity and variety, at least for me.
I believe the blue glass is creating an optical illusion, the sky in the background has a similar color, thus it appears as if we can see through the blue glass more clearly. The red glass has a very similar design and I believe if you switched the red and blue, the old red frame would appear to be the most "open". I'd suggest doing the same experiment with different frames but the same color in all of them.

Sorry for the slow progress updates but I've actually been redoing A LOT of textures. This update is going to be big.. Big as in changing how things look. Everything looks so much better. Heres some new jungle leaves to keep you happy. Small chance the update will be tomorrow. Small.
Your resource pack is a very neat and clean one, also giving me much inspiration. The sounds and 'meta-data' blocks in particular are very nice. As always, I will be looking forward to the future updates of Chivalry.

Thanks drummer. Glad you like it, and good luck to you with your textures!
Not since 2010 have I seen a 16x texturepack to my liking. But here it is. THE texturepack. If I ever don't use vanilla (which I do love) I will turn to this one. Fantastic job on so many levels... I am speechless =)
I was just wondering... What mods are you using? in the last screen shot (I think) there are chains coming down from the roof and that net or something above the Coldren, as well as the stones in the picture above that one. I can see that your using Carpenters Blocks (the "log" fences and smaller logs in the tree with the circular stones). It would be pretty cool to use them.
As of know I'm using Tinkers Construct (IMO, best mod ever) could you maybe think about adding support for it? If not that's fine, it would look really cool. If I work hard enough on it I probubly could get some sort of co-operation between the too that looks good (I'm not that great at making/editing texturepacks). If you could let me know the mods or maybe add support for Tinkers Construct that would be awesome!
I'd also like to say, Maybe I could get picks taken (and figure out how to post them -.-) and show you my lovely Ravien home. But I think the sounds and Random Mobs isn't working (I'm using Optifine, can't use MCP without having INSANE lag on my computer). Turns out that Laptops that were made with windows 8 (horrible OS, sorry if you like it) that crap out and DELETED its own OS then downgraded to windows 7 doesn't play games that well.... well that or its the graphics on my laptop SUCK. But i'll get pictures and try and post them, maybe I'll do a little work on making a bit of support for TC

All the mods I use is in the recommended and supported mods section of this thread. But all the chains, boulders, etc is metadata blocks with the use of mcpatcher.

Do you think you could explain how one gets said bolders and chains??? (and do you think you could try to add support for Tinkers Construct?)

Its mostly for builders that use worldedit or the monsterblocks plugin (if you're on a server.) You can use them with //set, /lrbuild, //replace, etc. You will need mcpatcher or optifine to see the extra blocks. I have most of the blocks you see in this image.
I will most likely not be providing any mod support for mods I dont use.

Waddya' think? (iron block)
I think the iron block looks great! You've managed to find the perfect color to capture the look of iron, good work!
I think this could be done in the nether ("hell" biome)...

Curse PremiumTurns out torches cant be ctm-ified at all. Shame.
Anyway heres a choppy gif of the new lava animation. Looks much better ingame.

Curse PremiumWell its iron.. Iron is dark. Most packs have a silver colored iron.
Got the basic design and colors for my new stained glass done.
Should I add varying colors within or keep it as is?
