Are you one of the people who thinks Jeb ruined Minecraft when he added magic stuff? Then this is the resource pack for you! Implementing the new abilities resource packs provided, this pack changes the names & textures of certain [magic] items to things that you might find in real life! For example, enchantment tables are now improvement tables, and potions are bottles of mead!

A full list of changes:
Enchantment Table=Improvement Table
Potions=Mead
Gave tops of logs different textures according to their relative wood planks
Renamed Oak Wood Plank to "Wooden Plank" because I like it better
Renamed Item Frame to "Frame" because it doesn't just frame items
Renamed item Nether Quartz to "Quartz" because we all know it comes from the nether
Renamed Quartz Pillar to "Pillar" because it's kinda obvious it's made of quartz
Removed overlay textures for leather armor
Renamed Cauldron to "Large Can" because it's not really a cauldron, you know ? Cauldrons are for making potions in, and you do not do that with cauldrons anymore.
Renamed Brewing Stand "Distillery"
Renamed Ender Chest "Ender Co. Transdimensional Space Occupier"
Renamed Ender Pearl "Ender Co. Genuine Solidified Enderman Power"
Renamed Eye of Ender "Ender Co. Especial Stronghold Eye
Renamed Clock "Ender Co. Affable Time-Teller" .... why not?
Changes to the chat output of beds
Changes to the Anvil, Potion, and Creative GUIs
Changes to the death messages to make them funnier (yes, I'm pretty sure this will work on servers)
Improved the curved rail texture, see picture above
Changed the splashes to do more with the texture pack
Changed the menu background and button textures

It's an interesting idea, but I'm not really sure how you de-magicified the spawn eggs. Those look more like magic wands to me. I think keeping them as eggs would be more natural.
I mean what's not magical about Minecraft? Creepers, enderman, the end, eyes of ender, the nether and its mobs, etc., have been around too and they aren't so called naturally found irl. Unless the updates really bug you (i don't know why) I'm glad for constant updates, refreshes the game a bit, and grows the Minecraft community. I'm glad a little indie java game went this big.

@macadamia: Well, some of those things just... fit the feel of minecraft, you know? But when jeb copied the potions and stuff from magic games, I felt he kinda ruined the feel. So I changed just those items that I could change, and altered slightly those that I couldn't.
@CyrusOfSky:You're right about the spawn eggs, I think I'll change those back.
@everybody:You know, if you're one of those people who has no problem with magic in minecraft, you don't have to use the texture pack.
