Hello! This is my first resource pack! With sounds, new music on records such as 'Ward' and textures! This resource pack is currently 1.6 and will be updated when newer versions of Minecraft come out. Making this resource pack was so fun! Because I learned new things when recording, drawing and more!
3. Find the Resource Pack file you just downloaded and drag
it into the 'resourcepacks' folder.
4. Open up Minecraft (game) and click on 'Options'
then find the button 'Resource Packs' and click it.
5. Select the 'HilaPack [1.6] file.
6. Have fun!

Records (Ward):
I have changed the music for the record 'Ward'. I will change all the music files for records soon. But here is the link to the music that is played when the record 'Ward' is in a Jukebox!
I'll just give you a heads up, since you're new here. Quite a few people don't take too kindly to the "shadeless" type of textures, such as the ones you've used for ores. It's more worthwhile to create your own textures from scratch, and take either shading, style, or both into account. Make sure you keep this in mind when making your pack. You can do a heck of a lot more than bucket fill or make simple default edits, and you're guaranteed to get a better response.

I did not use any bucket tool. I kept it simple and it took time. So maybe appreciate my work.

A bucket fill pack doesn't mean you used a bucket tool on textures, it means you used only a few solid colors in the textures. The ores for example, you only used 2 colors. If you want people to appreciate your work, you should try to be more original. It's ok to make a simple pack, but even the creators of famous simple packs put in SOME shading.

Okay, Cyrus just had the most polite, respectful tone in telling you that you made a piece of crap, and that response? You obviously didn't deserve such a pleasantry.
So I'll be blunt.
We've seen this before. It's nothing special. There is nothing to appreciate. There is no shading, form, or any amount of detail whatsoever. I could make this in less than five minutes, getting the files out of the .jar and all. We, as a community, as a whole, do not like these, as they have been a plague upon our forums for countless revisions of minecraft.
I mean, really, look at nether quartz ore. You literally took the default texture, and colored in a cream color over it! The bed is no better, either, and those are the only to blocks with any amount of detail.
So, no, we don't owe you respect, or appreciation. We don't even owe you our time, and you're lucky to have gotten this response from me.
There should really be a rule where if you make a bucket fill pack it will be taken down. I hate seeing these every time I log on.
And, to the author, I tried making a TP, once. I sucked at it, and took it down.
Not EVERYONE has a talent for making TP's, and I found out from mean comments that I don't have what it takes.
I really hoped you wouldn't have to find out the same way I did, but I suppose it's too late for that.

Hello! I'm a average minecrafter just browsing the forums. If you liked what I said/What I said was helpful, feel free to click that little green button!
I dont think so. You give up to easy. if you want to accomplish in life you dont want to always listen to people when they bring you down.
And here's something I actually agree with you on. But the thing is I wasn't trying to bring you down, I was trying to point you in a better direction. You shouldn't take criticism as an insult. If people actually care enough to give you advice, then it usually pays to listen. It's not like I never dealt with the same thing. Success is a two part process. It's sticking to your guns and staying determined, but it's also listening to others who try to help. I never told you to stop, I told you to try harder than simple default edits. Because simple default edits are a dime a dozen and you can do so much more than that. And if it's any encouragement, I never really asked Seradicus for that follow-up message. Because frankly I'm not trying to smack you with "your work is a piece of crap," I'm trying to tell you that you can do better. Appreciation isn't a right. It's something that you have to earn. And people here are willing to help you earn that if you actually let them, instead of shutting them out.
