Hate bats? Me too.
In this small addition to your resource packs, bats become non-existent! All of their sound files have been converted to absolute quiet. Not a peep (or squeak) out of them! Also, their texture has been altered to 100% transparency, meaning they're completely invisible!
Of course, their entities are still in existence, but for you, it doesn't matter. Those pests are gone for all you care! No more running into hordes of them while caving, or in a large dark room in your map! No more squeaking, no more hitting them instead of a block, ladies and gentlemen, NO MORE BATS!
You can easily install this into your own resource pack by simple adding the necessary files, located in the assets folder of this one. Enjoy!
Just because you made them invisible and silent, doesn't mean they are gone. You can still hit them instead of a block, and you have a better chance of doing so since you don't know when you've met one.
I'm sorry but is it nescessary to post pictures of.. nothing? They're not there, that's it. In the download is provided textures and sound, plus, mediafire protects against viruses when uploading files, please settle your jimmies : )

The fact you don't want to post pictures is sketchy

All he did was make the bat texture completely transparent, and remove their sounds, which...really doesn't do anything, other than let a bunch of invisible and silent bats into your game. There's not really much to show, other than maybe the mob's hitbox.

Well I've always had problems with bats in my Adventure Maps, they're loud, they're annoying, and I was sick of them. So I made this so the "seeing" problem will be gone. Of course their hitbox is there but what are the actual chances of hitting one that's invisible?

How often do you accidentally hit a bat in-game? Multiply that by about 5, since you can no longer see the mob to avoid hitting whilst attempting to kill that creeper.
Oh man, now you're dead.
Also, as a general rule, if creating what you posted took less effort than playing a game, you probably shouldn't have posted it.

Well, the thing that bothers me about bats is not that you can accidentially hit them, just the way that they act. They follow you around when you explore caves, and also they get in the way when you mine. This is also extra annoying to me, because in my world, I live in a huge cave (with grass and decorations, of course), and I hate bats flying around.

Actually, I have downloaded from mediafire and sometimes Norton does detect it as a virus. I'm not talking about the harmless ones like WS Reputation, but the ones that crash your computer. Of course, I'm not talking about this download. This is perfectly safe.

There is a way to still show pictures. Using f3+b makes hitboxes show up, the hitbox will be empty since there's no texture.
