xBR Default is a resource pack based on the famous filter, most used for emulators, called xBR. This filter can be used in several resolutions, as xBR 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x, but combined can achieve resolutions up to (for example) 32x and 64x. This filter was created by Hyllian.
UPDATE [16/06/16]: So, the project is dead (yeah, I'm making this 3 years later). Even if now is much more easy to remake this project with better results, I no longer play Minecraft (that means than I've no interest in do it). If some admin want to delete this thread, that would be great.
It'd be nice if you did some work on the seams between the tiles. Maybe tile the textures 3x3 then run the filter and take the middle tile to use as the texture.
Fix those edges. Maybe stack the texture to the sides before applying the filter, so you can have it tilable.
Other than that, it looks pretty neat. I'm assuming it didn't take much effort to make this but whatevers.
In fact, it was not difficult, but if it takes a long time. There are many textures, even gave me problems in 1.5.2. Also it was hard to find a program to perform texture filtering.
On the edges of the textures, I recognize that they need a little work, but I improve for the next version of minecraft
I really like this texture pack because it reminds me of an old TP I used to use that got discontinued... BUT, I noticed a few flaws I would like to point out. You've got some major tiling issues. With the vines and grass for example, I can clearly see the lines in between the blocks, which is slightly annoying.

I know, I have planned to fix it for the next update of minecraft (if I have enough time)
Take a look at this.*
Single filter packs aren't well appreciated. Wastes of space, let's be honest, considering the fact that this is a forum.

I had seen this topic before. In fact, before create it, look if there was already one, but only see the idea, then I got down to work. It's just another resource pack, if you like, fine.
Well xBR is how famous "Faithful" was made, isn't it?
I do not see any resemblance in particular, but are totally different. xBR Default is made by 100% with the filter XBR while Faithful has many tweaks. Although the base can be the same, this resource pack is 100% filter xBR.

The resource pack contains all the textures for the 1.6.2 version, with a resolution of 128x
and 512x (in progress)Images: No longer online
Works perfectly (although I recommend the use of Optifine HD) in version 1.6.2.

Curse PremiumYeah, I figured that I did wrong. Thanks

For the umpteenth time, I have planned to fix it later. I need to edit every texture and I take his time.
Thanks, like I said take me a little time, but hopefully worth.
