No, it is my 'opinion' that the majority of people that have made a texture or resource pack and know how hard it is (you have not) frown upon simple edit packs like this, in fact of all the people that have liked this resource pack, only 2 of them have made a texture pack, one of them just modified oCd so that doesn't really count. These packs, in the words of Seradicus, are indeed a plague that we see every day and usually take 5 minutes or less to make. Notice how no packs like this ever get popular, the popular packs are packs where the artists have created their own art, wonder why that is?

I agree completely with epic... Myself, I will fully admit that I have never made a texture pack.. And potentially know how hard it could be to actually make one. But this.. This.. Doesn't even look that hard, and besides, all you are doing is making it lighter. I have seen Epic_Awesome's texture packs. If you want to see an actual made one with creativity look at his..

I tried, you don't want to see my results.
The point of resource pack is to improve the game in anything texture or sound related. If the guy thinks he can do it this way, I say let him.

Ok. That's great. He CAN do that.. But he has to know a lot of people will not use this texture pack because it's pretty much exactly like the default. The actual point of a resource pack is to improve the textures an insane amount. To give a feel that's actually different.. Faithful should cover all the ones that like the default pack. If you are going to make a texture pack, you have to put some effort into it. Not just make one that's pretty much as close to the default pack as possible. As I said earlier, at least you can tell a bit of difference between faithful and the default.. This, you can't even tell a difference. I am looking at that picture thinking, "Isn't this the default..." I honestly couldn't tell if the lighting was changed..

Ok, the sand is the only thing I see that is the biggest difference. It's almost like incomplete textures you get with a new texture pack..

And that is perfectly fine. Everyone that is against it is just expressing their opinion about it. I do think it would be a very good pack for people who like it. That's all I was trying to say. People who were for it, kept arguing with me about MY opinion, almost basically calling it a fact that is good. The fact is, everyone had their opinions, it's a good texture pack for people who want that sort of thing. But other people who don't like it can express their opinion. There is no need to get in a huge argument about it. I know you are thinking, "take your own advice." But I am taking my own advice.. I am trying to argue my point as in, it's an opinion,
Deal with other preferences guys..

If you don't like the pack leave him be, it has 3000+ plus downloads, plus it's not like he's making any profit off of it.

You think views and downloads amount to people liking it? No, the majority of views/downloads come from people testing things out, it doesn't actually mean they like it.

Awesome! I missed using this texture pack in the previous versions. I noticed under the downloads section, it says 1.6.3 not 1.6.2.
