Hello, Minecraft Forums!
Have you ever missed the old days of Minecraft? Do you ever get nostalgic? Have you EVER wished there was a way to take it all back to the beggining? Well, this isn't a mod. This isn't an old Jar File. This is my new Resource Pack. I call it.... Classicraft!
In this Resource Pack, you will see that there are a lot of textures changed, but the biggest feature is the sound change! It just makes you feel like you're in Alpha again!
Here are a couple of screenshots:
These are the blocks changed (so far!)
*I did fix the line through the chest in the last update, and I will get more pictures.
These are the Foods and the Emeralds (or Rubies, as they are in this Resource Pack!)
Things in Classicraft:
*Pigs don't have protruding snouts
*Cobblestone is the old texture
*Emerald blocks, ores, and items are all switched to Rubies (Language files for US match, too!)
*Chests are more square
*Foods are changed to old versions
*Bricks, Gravel, and Ore Blocks (Diamond Block, Iron Block, etc.) are all the older versions
*Various sounds (such as the old "Ow" sound, bow sounds, TNT, etc.) are changed back to the older versions
*A few language file tweaks (Still working on it.)
*Leather Armor doesn't have the overlay (Just like before!)
*Please keep in mind that I still haven't completely finished this pack. It just needs a few more touches.
**This is also my first Resource Pack! I hope you guys like it!

Sorry to say, but I've honestly lost count how many nostalgia packs there are. It's good that you're learning the ins and outs of texture pack creation, but if you want to start a serious project, I strongly recommend doing something more original. These packs get posted once every week, if not every day. There's literally hundreds of them out there, that span all versions of minecraft. They're not really in demand, nor is there a need for such a large amount.
Nostalgia packs aren't memorable. Original work is.
The thing about other people's Alpha Resource Packs is that they don't have as much features such as Sound Edidting. This is why I made this. I made it to create a true Nostalgic expierience in Minecraft. If you don't think it's good, then so be it. I worked a long time on it and I'm pretty proud of my work.

Curse PremiumYes they do. I've seen a few already that have sounds added. It's pretty much been the first idea when creating a classic resource pack.
