The play sound command goes like this:
/playsound sound player x y z volume pitch minVolume
To play an unmodified sound, simply stop at the player part.
To play a sound at a different volume or pitch, you'd have to type in the coordinates.
that only works when using the command without a command block, if you don't type in the coordinates inside a command block, the center will be the command block, not the player
Well, i just beat the Enderdragon today, and i noticed that the credits music doesn't work, after all the credits it never started... so i decided to tell you guys, well, see you next time!.

Just unpack the patch file to a folder/directory on your computer where you will be able to easily view the files right away, and then open SnowSong zip you use for your gaming with Minecarts and overwrite all occurrences of the files contained within the patch folder.

The flint sound under fire called ignite.ogg was a request of someone earlier in the forum posts. It will add an actual sound of real flint being scraped against metal to capture real sounds and spark noise but the sound file is intended to be followed by the ignition of flame. ALL attempts set fire, just, the fire doesn't always appear and/or last for very long.

Have you downloaded the SnowSong sound pack recently. I made a huge mistake by not making a new version for the song changes I made. I just over-wrote the files on my file server and posted everyone should re-download to get the latest of all the files.
Also, it's just me...one little cripple girl...
If the issue remains even with the latest SnowSong...recall, only 1.7.x will be able to play the End Credits music. If no music played at all, then that is peculiar because if my song is absent, C418's snoozer song should play instead.
Music just all around stopped working for me randomly. Again. I hate it when it does that... I'll just wait for the new update lol.
Nothing is truly random in the world of binary. Mojang seems Hell-Bent on making life miserable for the MOD community (for which they owe ALL of their success!!!!)! I cannot test to see what is preventing my music from playing because my PC is dead and going to cost me $300 to repair. I won't have any money to spare until February unless I receive gifts, donations or loans. If anyone knows why this has happened, please help us to know.

I killed the ender dragon and then i entered the portal, there was no music... i don't really know what happened, but don't worry
About the problem with you computer, there are a few things you could do (if you didn't before of course) first, you can put a Adf.Ly Mirror, if you already have one, i'll click it every day i hope you'll be ok
About the pack, i wondered if you could make alternates (like diferent songs for the enderdragon, wither.etc)
Redownloaded and all that jazz, music now works again. Bada bing! And believe me, if I had income right now, I'd give you as much money as I could, I'd even be up to giving the full 300. You're deserving of that. But I don't have anything right now Economy blows. God bless you, and I hope and pray things get better for you!

hey would you mind at all if i make a build that is like a small village that features your resource pack? it would be mostly for me to ply around with and release a video on youtube and maybe if it got enough views I could make more towns and even a story to it? anyway I just think it would be REALLY cool (get it cool as in snow) also Its just a small offer but if you want I could make a minecraft skin that resembles your avatar! anyway I cant wait to try this out!

This should be a simple process, really.
