Right now I am doing art for book covers and music for the release of my 3rd CD to iTunes/Amazon and my 4th CD as well.
I have every intention of creating my own MOD when the art projects are finished that will not only fix the SFX duration problems, fix the 1.7.10 stacking song bug, allow me to add seamless and endless sound calls for Biome, altitude and Time of Day specific environmental SFX and ambient tracks, but also add a full set of SFX to EVERY block and item in the game. An iron sword will sound like an iron sword. A diamond sword when swung will sing like crystal, and breaking pots will sound different from breaking ice and glass.
This will be an ENORMOUS project I hope to start ASAP!
Support will only be available for Minecraft versions 1.7.10 and later to implement such extensive programming and .json scripting.
I am sorry if it takes me a while to respond.
I will also be working on response SFX based on what part of the player's bounding box is taking damage. Improved SFX for fireworks and increased explosion volume on the way.
Be sure to check Sn0wZ0ne texture pack. The fire animation and the explosion visual effects are second to none! 100% original hand-painted and hoping to finish 100% of the textures IF I can get more support to do it.
Snow, When do you think you'll be able to implement the new creatures' sounds? (guardians, for example) btw, you remember the Wither boss battle song? well, it actually works! the only problem is that the sound source itself seems to be the wither's spawn point, that means that if you get too far you wont hear the music, i hope mojang does something about this soon :v, about the mod you plan on making, why dont you ask Kahr about it? (MCpatcher's Creator, an app that mods your game to have several resource pack oriented features that vanilla doesn't have, like random mob textures, Custom item textures and that kind of stuff, it currently doesn't have any sound options that i know of, but, since it's a resource pack oriented app, i think it should contain sound options too :))
Wow, just wow, I made an account just to tell you how awesome this sound pack is, it's so amazing. Thank you for putting so much time and dedication into your work, it really shows. Keep up the awesomeness, hope to see the mod up and running soon. Also, you are so amazing for putting this out for the public without ads or any gimmicks. Truly you are an artist that cares more for your craft than monetary gain. Love it!
Well, this is a resource pack and not an app or MOD.
I have been so caught up in developing my textures and doing commission arts lately.
I have no idea, actually, how to make a lang file for the song names. I do intend to add tons of new sounds and use MusicChoices to add ambient tracks, etc, and better organize the OP.
When I finish the current commission I am painting, I will return to Sn0wSong for an update and a version for 1.8.x that will hopefully add more than just the current sounds to the game.
I am sorry it takes me so long to do things. The irony of being terminally ill is that the longer you try to get more and more done as you rush to beat the ticking of the clock, the slower you get at doing things. This is a terribly frustrating state in which to be.

This sound pack is really amazing o.o. Some of the new mob sounds will take some adjusting to but the ingame music? Well done. I do ask if you could take the time to relabel the music discs in the game to reflect their actual names if you get a chance.
Also: please don't drop support for 1.7 when you release a new update. Us modded folks are stuck behind a much slower update schedule and Mojang borking things every release so if we want to play mods, we tend to stay a version back for a few months after releases. Pretty sound effects for the lesser and unfortunate?
The sounds are amazing, I no longer tire of the piston sounds, and everything sounds very dynamic. It's fantastic. Are you still working on this project?

Absolutely! Feel free to use all my music, music packs and sound FX, even all of my textures from the textures pack in whatever you like.
It's 100% original, 100% Alecia Shepherd, and 100% free. You don't even have to give me credit for it!
Check the Overview Page to see the legal statement.
Your work would be way more enjoyable if it weren't riddled with your tales and troubles. It was also difficult to find any samples of your music without paying for it before-hand.

The Greatest Texture Pack So Far...
Been playing this for a while now and some of the music is really dam emotional, such an amazing resource pack.
Have you created any lang files that will tell people what songs are on the records in the snowsongs resource pack (and the other packs) ?
hi sn0w, the links arent working, lol

Well, This is a very awesome soundpack. I love it. I used it a long time ago but i didn't comment. Now that I still use it, I wanted to comment.
Anyways, I love this.
Can I ask for a bit of help on how to change sounds in Minecraft?
You mean how to install?
No, I mean how to change sounds in Minecraft.
How to use your own sounds?
The sounds are amazing, I no longer tire of the piston sounds, and everything sounds very dynamic. It's fantastic. Are you still working on this project?
See the top of this page
Things can change though.
