The intentions of this pack is to use McPatcher to make a world of minecraft that unfolds more and more as you travel, because the environment will be so much more expansive and unique. For example when entering a cave in current texturepacks you just see a formation of blocks with a repeating pattern texture...if you have seen one cave you have seen them all, but in this pack every cave is unique because you wont see a wall pattern form because their are thousands of combinations that can occur and even every side of the blocks you find has the possibility of being different...also there isn't uniformity...in most packs you identify a block like ore because every time you see it it is the same in my pack every ore you see is 1 out of 256 variants!.
The presence of the natural world isnt supposed to be medieval it's supposed to look untouched by man...while the crafted blocks are supposed to grasp the feel of medieval times and apply it to the builds of the user, the mcpatcher features just make it bend to the users style, though some blocks are not finished or in their final cuts, such as all of the 32x default filler that is slowly being filled in with the released content... so the small details such as the white wool, gui, and torches are more than enough to make it medieval, also the pack is supposed to be medieval not in the sense of Tudors and castles, but it reflects some of the styles of the time and brings some architectural flavor into the game...it actually touches other areas so the pack can be used in different styles such as nordic and japanese (or increasingly so at the least)
Note: This pack is incomplete but I am always updating Note: I am open to suggestion and users can even post their own contributions and be credited in the pack

This is amazing. I LOVE the day and night sky texture, it looks incredible. Cant wait for it to be all done.
Here's some feedback/bugs/sugguestions:
I noticed the enchanted bow looks a bit funky. Flashing orang/red on its back or something. Not sure if its your desired effect for enchantments or just a bug?
The signs are very hard to read with black letters on a dark wood surface. Lighter wood for signs or diffirent font color needed.
Font in general (like main menu) could be a little bigger I think.
Nether portal and Enderpear have missing textures (pruple/white boxes).
Not a big fan of the current iron door. Something more soild would be nice, but that's just me.
Also I think the quickbar should be the same color as the inventory or maybe a slightly lighter shade of it. Having it white is a little annoying (at least to me).
In the future it would be preety awesome if we could choose between 2 diffirent versions. Current default one and maybe one with slightly lighter wood and stone colors and diffirent iron doors for example? Or better yet have it on minecraftcustomizer.net once it becomes 1.6 compatable. That'd be preety sweet.
Keep up the awesome work!
P.S: What are the coins in one of your screenshots? A mod?

thanks for the feedback this is what fuels my pack I just made a huge update added many things, and check out my pull I'm adding on the stone texture....the bow will be fixed soon and the iron door is a place holder because I have no ideas for it yet....i'll look into the inventory thing and I hope you stay a fan and active participant in this packs developement....thank you
Ya I'm sticking around
What's up with the =5 =1.5 = 8 =12 =100 in the furnace GUI? And you missed my question about the coins in my previous post.
For the poll It's really hard to tell just by looking at the texture alone. An ingame comparison screenshot would be much more helpfull.
Another idea I had was for the GUI in general; Its quite annoying if texture packs have too dark GUI for inventories. When you open a chest you should never have to strain your eyes to see what's in it. A light wood color would be a much more user firendly option I think. Not white like the quickbar, just lighter wood color, so any block or material can be seen well. This pack has done better then a lot I've seen but any wooden blocks or materials (like sticks, signs and arrows) are harder to see.
I allready mentioned signs before as being hard to see when put on wooden blocks, now I've also noticed that ladders face the same problem. Maybe try the same dark wood material for the ladder that you have on wooden doors?
I hope I'm not coming out as a huge **** complaining about every other thing These are just ideas and sugguestions on how I'd like the pack better.
Oh and I've changed my display name, the old one was ... well old. And perhaps a bit childish. Thought I should point it out so there's no confusion.

What new sound? I didn't find anything new.
The new stone texture looks great bdw (on the screenshot you added).
The gravel looks really weird and out of place bdw, at least for me. Do you plan on changing it or is it final?
Would be great if you add a version info somewhere so we know whenever you update it. Also you might want to put some spoiler tags on screenshots and changelog to make the post somewhat smaller, its getting preety big.
Could you do Trapped chests next please? They wouldnt need much work since they're nearly identical to normal chests. I use them a lot (since you can place them right next to normal chests, no need for space in between them) and they look really out of place with the default texture. Thanks ^^

so do you like what I did with the trapped chests?
Its great, thanks Love the new music disk songs, great work on that. I'm not so sure about the new coal vein texture tho, looks a little weird. The old one was a bit hard to spot but looked more natural. Also the writing on signs is now brown, not sure if that's intentional cos you can't read it unless your right next to it now. Oh and there's some problems with dirt underwater, looks like it has a current/water flow next to it. I can post a screenshot if you want?

About
The intentions of this pack is to use McPatcher to make a world of minecraft that unfolds more and more as you travel, because the environment will be so much more expansive and unique.
Note: This pack is incomplete but I am always updating
Note: I am open to suggestion and users can even post their own contributions and be credited in the pack

Retired StaffSounds like the length of material burn for things like sticks, coal, wood planks, lava and such, but thats just a guessss
she is right, they are the burn lengths I want to put the item textures that correlate when they are textured
as for the coins they are the gold nuggets
The new stone texture looks great bdw (on the screenshot you added).
The gravel looks really weird and out of place bdw, at least for me. Do you plan on changing it or is it final?
