This pack reminds me of when I played Minecraft in Beta 1.7. I thought leather armor was rusty armor, and redstone was ruby, squids were evil octopi, and skeletons were light grey humans that fired sticks out of their arms. I kid you not, I was THAT dumb (well, I WAS like 10 years old). Oh, and when I dug out the side of a hill and put all kinds of redstone stuff in it I felt like it was a castle. I was so proud I had no clue what survival mode was and thus only played creative until I had stumbled upon a tutorial made by a man named paulsoaresjr. Minecraft was so much different, even in late Beta, compared to how it is right now.

Personally i love the neon green grass, but the missing original mineral block textures make me give this pack only a 8.5/10. I loved them back in classic but since classic is basically dead this is the next best thing
According to my research, the only ore that changed texture was gold ore and it was hardly different, I don't think I have the original gold ore in this pack, but can you be more specific? If by mineral blocks you mean iron/gold/diamond/lapis blocks then I do have the old textures. However, the original textures for diamond, iron, and gold blocks had a different texture on the bottom, sides, and top, I can only choose one texture for all sides, so I'm using the top texture after putting it to a vote with the users of this pack. To be honest, the side textures and bottom textures are some of the ugliest textures I have seen in this game, the top texture of those blocks is a thousand times better.
I so wish I started playing Minecraft from the beginning, but I guess I was too young then. Oh well, at least I played Pocket Edition from the beginning.
By the way, I wonder whether there will be another update or not. I know 1.9 is coming out soon and the pack needs to be compatible with it, as there are new sounds that this resource pack needs to make silent. Additionally, a lot of these resource packs forget the old snow sound effects that were removed in 1.4, such as this one. The poppies should also be renamed to roses, btw.
Oh and btw what did the original ore textures look like? I know gold ore used to look like this:
Finally, the Steve skins are broken and appear very strange, especially when seeing other players on servers with the skin. Here are a couple of examples:
4 years ago, I started played MCPE/Minecraft in general. Now, I have MCPC, and I'm still not bored of the blocky sandbox indie. Cuz awesomeness! Got a problem with that?
I know how to get the old terrain! Go into a profile and change it to whatever version you want, create a world, and copy the seed to the newest version of minecraft!
Sence the new textures will be coming out *soon* A texture pack that preserves the current art style *with biome colors included or changeable.* and something that makes gravel interchangeable *There are four textures for gravel, now there will be five, Help us all.* and Glazed Terracotta not being so... nuts.
Correct me if I am wrong but if I recall (and I don't know if you can do this with just a resource pack) but In the older versions, the items on the ground were much bigger than they are now, I think. And I don't even know if you still play minecraft after 4 years but this is just a little thought into your pack. Another thing (and I don't know if your able to change this either) is that the door sounds are still the current version, I'm positive they had different sounds but I am very happy with the pack nonetheless, it definitely brings back memories and experiencing nostalgia. Thank you for the pack

Let this tell you that I'm not a noob.
And I'm not a 6-year-old whinger either.
Sunset/Sunrise?

I would love a version that changes the Enderman particles back to smoke. I don't mind it changing the portal particles at all.

It's so tiny, click it to see it Hatch!

I'm Sorry To Say, But The "Nostalgia-Craft" Resource Pack Is Much More Improved.
First Of All, The Old Block Of Iron, Block Of Gold, And Block Of Diamond Textures Are Just Smooth. No Gray-ish Lighting On The Top.
Second, The Doors Don't Make "The Classic Minecraft Door" Sound.
