I like isabella, but a lot of the blocks are rather hard to tell apart, and with most of the colors muted, all you have to tell a lot of the blocks apart is a slightly different noise pattern, and a different shade of grey or brown. Distinguishing what's what will be even trickier when you add the dyed clay & coal. I'd like to see some of the blocks get more of an individual, unique texture.

I personally never have/had that problem. The more you use it, the quicker you get used to it I guess.
I actually made the horse armor textures, and I meant for them to be very minimal. I think it goes well with the rest of the texture pack, but they might need a bit more work. I will see if I can expand on the current texture.
I think it might be good for the golden horse armor to be similar to how you have it, since the golden armor is like that as well :D, but it would be good to have the diamond and the iron armor with a bit more "protection". ie. the golden armor is showy, while the iron and diamond armor are practical

To badjman: Im not sure yet what we will be doing for sounds and what not yet, I'd love to see the font! Thanks!
To TheArticFox and whomever is interested about textures changing (Horse armor and differences between blocks/uniqueness) I do want to change the armor for diamond and possibly Iron though I do like the minimalistic theme, Artic has the point of matching the "player's" armor. Two things I want to change to blocks added is the clay and the coal blocks. Both seem too basic and similar to the original minecraft texture pack. I just wanted to get out a build that had somewhat similar textures so I had no pressure to tweak them.
To Motif: I understand that people think the fire looks strange, I see it too :/ Im not sure if I should keep the new fire texture (which happened to be in one of the old original Isabella packs) or change it to the old one. Ill try to set up a pole thing and see what people think.
Thank you all for your support, it really helps! <3

Exactly what I was thinking as I was playing earlier, completely agree with this. I think it'd go very well. The golden armor seemed most appropriate for the current texture all the armors principally have at the moment; but as for the iron and diamond ones, I feel like they should reflect the player's armor and be padded and studded, that sort of thing.

Ah, so you're the one who made them then. You're doing pretty well with it, good job so far and good luck on the rest of its work. I'm also pretty excited to see what you guys will do with the horse textures themselves. Man, talk about a lot of variants.

I always liked that stone, cobblestone, stone bricks, etc. had similar textures. It never made sense to me when texture packs changed their colors, even slightly. Also, noise? *looks at the default texture pack* Ummm...
Anyways, glad you guys are continuing the pack. While I have not switched to 1.6 yet (the server I play on lately is down now and it isn't clear if it will be updated by the time it comes back) but I look forward to seeing your guys' work.
Hello there, I'm Andrew, and I am the maintainer of Isabella II: FTB.
First, glad to see someone took the reigns already. I was willing to do it, but since I play Feed The Beast exclusively, I'm pretty sure I'm a ways away from actually playing 1.6.
Second, since bone didn't specify his wishes for the license, I'm wondering if I could use your textures going forward. Continuity is a big thing for me, and my vision of the pack. I'd like for people to be able to use the vanilla pack or the FTB pack and not have problems with different textures for the same items.
Ah, thanks for catching the Lilly pad, unfortunately I can't do much to change its color. It is based off the foliage.png which is set to darken things. Try going to a swamp biome and placing one? I don't know about the fire texture though, that was actually in the pack before it was discontinued. If you want I'll leave the old fire texture in and you can go in and change it.
I had no idea my fire had slipped into the default pack. It was the first thing I had ever added to my pack, and the only animated texture I have ever fooled with. It's something I have always wanted to go back and work on, but have not had the time to do so. I'll be sure to stop by and share it if/when I get around to it.
Can't wait for the full 1.6 release! Great to see that somebody has taken the reigns.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask/beg that anyone working on a fork of Isabella explicitly distribute new versions under the same license that bonemouse distributed the pack under, and in general be willing to share their own work with other people who are working on Isabella - it's going to really suck if people get bent out of shape if a 16x16 texture they made is in someone else's pack (I haven't seen anyone get mad - and that's great - but the mc community has really weird variations of statements on licenses, and it's much easier for anyone/everyone if the cc license is displayed large and upfront.
For the record, I have been so pleased with the FTB remix work done by MrAndrew, ScottKillian, and everyone else over at the FTB thread.

Thank you so much for responding MrAndrew420! I realize now that I may have been looking at some FTB files and noticed the fire texture and then accidentally added it to this pack thinking Bone made it haha. I would be thrilled for you to use this pack in your ever expanding FTB texture pack :). I would note that at the moment all the textures added are really just place holders and will be updated to something a little more Isabella-ie?
That depends on when you last checked since most of the updates are silent. I think the most recent version is 1.6g, be sure to check the download link though as it might have changed
Hey guys, Its great to see that some people love this texture pack enough to keep it going, its been my default for a while and i can't live without it, so happy there's one for 1.6 <3 Keep up the great job and good luck

Behind every great man, there's a woman rolling her eyes.
I was so sad to see that the original guy was stopping, I love this texture pack. You guys are awesome for continuing this. I'd offer to help, but I am horrible with texturing.

Yeah, things are fine as of now. Sorry for being so quite, I've just been sifting through slow real life work these past days ;/. I'm eager to get back in the action though! Hopefully will be working on Isabella again through this week. The only thing that needs to be finished is the horse entity textures. Could you email me that person Motif?
Hey there, I would like to present myself as Frederikam (or Fred), contributer to Isabella II: FTB edition. I have been working on Isabella for quite some time now and I think I could make some of your textures (I.E. the wheat block) look a little more like the original texturepack.
You might have noticed I got curse premium. I got infinite curse premium for making an old vanilla texturepack that's got 13,869 downloads.
EDIT: If I'm not mistaken, aren't you allowed to edit sounds, fonts, languages and such? And if so, will you guys be adding such things in there?
If you need a good font, I might have one that will fit!
