Hi there! Recently, I began working on a resource pack for the upcoming 1.6 update. I believe I've changed enough to call for a release at this point, so here it is!
I wanted to do a resource pack with a similar feel and color scheme to the default pack, hence the name. I often used similar palettes and styles for my textures (for example, the stone texture), but overall the pack has a little bit of a darker feel when it comes to the textures.
I've mostly been doing work with block textures, but I've also edited some of the GUI and HUD sprites. I've also done a little bit of work on sounds and language files, such as reimplementing old sounds like the original door open/close and the classic damage taking sound.
