You really need to edit the sky's color map to make it more grey and gloomy
I knooooow. I was looking into what that would take today and since it's not a default part of the resourcepack (unless I am mistaken in what I read) then I'm not going to do it. I dislike my packs being dependent on mods.

Hey, I know adding animated textures is very hard, but I think it'd be really cool if you made it so a couple of the paintings would blink or look around or something...
I dunno if it'd detract from the feel you're going for or not, but it'd be interesting.
Just throwing an idea out there.
Also, if you don't like the weapons you could change them out for scythes as well.
But again, I don't know if it'd detract from the feel your going for or not.

I actually hate animating textures. But I kind of want to make rotated textures someday, so the stuff like the fountain lapis stone is oriented right on the top.
And scythes! That's an awesome idea! But I like my daggers, I was going for kind of a rougish feel with them... maybe I could make an alternate weapons pack that just has various weapons people can use.
love these textures but the gui of inventory and chests is a little bright and hard to focus on the items lol, the melons kind of confuse me, and i love the bricks this is really amazing work.
Also is there a bloody looking variation of the mossy stone bricks?i think it would be cool to have some that match the cobble ones.
All your 1.9 textures are awesome, and working fine.
But I just realized your Prismarine texture doesn't repeat perfectly.
Also, Batwings = Awesome.
Doesn't tile correctly or doesn't line up in corners? Because I know about the second one and I just try not to think about it due to the massive pain it is to get it to all align around angles.
These wings have been SO fun to texture. I love them all.
Now I love this pack, but I have a question, will glass ever be transparent? Or is this my game some how? The most transparent glass block is the black one. Normal glass and all panes are pretty much solid.
Not the best screenshot but the opaque one is normal glass, the one next to it is black and then pink. Its hard to build with glass cause you just cant see through it. I adore everything else but this is killing me and Im not sure if this is me or just the resource pack.
Edit: I enjoy the look of the glass you originally had. And I can confirm I'm using optifine if that somehow makes a difference, and if it does I'm sorry. It's just been bugging me for a few days now to have glass that isnt.. transparent and thus not really glass.

If regular, non-stained glass is opaque for you, then something is up with your game. Otherwise, stained glass is going to be translucent, but heavier on the opaque side than transparent. I did that because I figure most people are going to be using stained glass decoratively and I wanted strong colors, which I wasn't getting when I had weak transparency. I jacked the opaqueness up to get better color. Here's a screenshot of what my texture test world looks like at the glass wall... you can see stuff behind it (I put a bunch of trees up to make sure) but the overall intent was for the color to stand out, not for it to function like window glass. And that's kinda how stained glass works in the real world, too. But clear glass should absolutely be transparent.
What it might be is that the regular clear glass isn't actually 100% clear. There was some nasty pixelation going on, so I made the glass layer 5% visible. The human eye can't tell the difference, but it fixed the rendering issues that were very visible before I added the glass in. If you're not on the current version of Minecraft or using a mod, it might not be able to handle translucency on the default glass and be filling in those pixels as opaque instead.

You are a 100 million % correct. For some reason optifine was doing that. Weird. Excuse me then! Now to figure out what to do then.. optifine fixes my fps but it does exactly what you said, it doesn't handle the translucency well which is why normal glass appears opaque then. I tried MC without optifine and it appears exactly as you've shown tho, so this was my end.
Atleast now I know it's my fault! Sorry about that and keep up the good work, I love this pack and I guess sacrificing optifine is a small price.

Okay, good to know it got figured out. Bit strange that optifine can't handle it. Here's a totally transparent version of the default glass, though, drop that in your resourcepack and overwrite the old, and see if that fixes the problem so you can use both.

Do you want awesome demon wings? Of course you do.
Go download the latest version of this pack!

These wings have been SO fun to texture. I love them all.
I know if I try to explain it I'll totally derp stuff up.
So here's a picture.
It seems like it's just the weird light cracks, The stone it's self seems fine.
I hope that means it's easier?
Also, as to the "I try not to think about it" comment, no one's forcing you to make these, so if you want to take a break or whatever feel free! lol
Friendship is magic!
.....huh.
That's way off. Let me check the texture over here and see what's happened.
So the prismarine is fixed and I redid the thread front page.
Updated wool and glass so that it looks better.
