Hello all, I have decided to start making a texture pack. Because I have almost no artistic skill all the textures are very simple. It is not %100 done (I need to texture mobs, some items and the sun/moon and such).
Also you may notice that some mobs look like the Painterly Pack ones, this is because i just downloaded that and started re-texturing the textures.
I don't exactly know how to post pictures but this might work.
Over world
Nether
The End

I like the attempt to texture, everyone learns. I suggest looking up some guides on how to make it appealing and not bucket filled. Also don't make duplicate posts, and I give props for pictures.

It's not that you have no skill, you just don't seem to have applied it to these textures. They're all flat and blank, some of them might as well be 1x1. Try adding actual shading and shape, and, you know, texture. You can develop skill, but you have to actually try.
If you're not sure how to do that, click the link in my sig and read some of the tutorials.
I wouldn't say it's all bad. It has a bit more of a style element compared to other bucket-fill packs, but generally people don't really enjoy "simple" packs.
Thank you to all that commented, and to anyone viewing this page I have started a new texture pack that is still simple(ish) but I have tried to add depth and shading and all that fancy stuff.
Also I looked up what a bucket-fill texture pack was and I did not use a bucket fill tool (it would have been nice when I was making this pack) but I still qualify my pack as bucket-fill.

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".
