Resonance is a simple pack. There's really no way to sugarcoat that fact without seeming pretentious. But unlike those much derided bucketfill and photoshop filter packs, every texture is hand crafted and has tons of effort put into it.
The pack began with the Simple Pack Showdown last year, but some time after the contest concluded Minecraft 1.5 was released, and with it Nether Quartz. I found the palette limitations extremely frustrating, and eventually decided it was time to include another shade; a brighter white colour.
Eventually, similar frustrations led to me redoing the diamond and emerald textures with different colours - though these are being tweaked and as such have not been added to the palette image included in the download.
To-do list
- Place all colours used in the 'newnewpalette.png' file
- Redo beds
- More fancy text for this post
- More GUI, heavily tweak currently included GUI
Version 1.0.1
+Added painting texture
*Redid cyan wool
*Fixed the overlay for leather boots
*Fixed helmets being too low in inventory tiles
Older versions:
Version 1.0
- Initial release.

This is very good! I don't normally go for this style of pack, I like my high-res, but this is something I would actually use! You've managed to convert me!
Might I make the suggestion of making the GUI a little less bright? It's a little hard to see at this point
The general idea was to have GUI that matched the block it was attached to, but while trying to adhere to my colour palette this is difficult to do. At the moment this concept is only really visible when you use a furnace but there's more coming! And what I do have is still a work in progress, so it'll probably change soon.
It's name is weird though, and doesn't fit, but I need to stop being so nit-picky!
Nice pack
I do think this pack is nice, thanks. About the name: It's had it since the contest, so I don't want to change it until the pack gains momentum on its own.
In regards to updates: I've currently got a copy of the pack converted to the Resource Pack format, so from now on all updates will be in both Texture Pack and Resource Pack format. Apart from that, not too much progress to report.

I GOT IT, YES B1TCHÂES! CHOCOLATE VANILLA SWIRL WITH COOKIE CRUNCH PLEASE!
Nope. As I mentioned in the sort-of-wall-of-text, this was made from scratch for a texture pack contest some time last year.
